  • GM R.B. Ramesh is one of the best chess trainers in India and the world. After spending years working with talented students he has developed his own methods of training. These methods have been successful and have helped him create talents like Praggnanandhaa, Aravindh Chithambaram, Bharath Subramaniyam and many others.
In this video we sit across Ramesh and ask him for tips and advice that would help chess trainers to become more proficient in their art. We ask him for specific advice related to opening, middlegame and endgame. Ramesh's fluency with regards to the important points goes to show what a big expert he is in this field. A thoroughly instructive video.

I liked the last question because you understand that the secret of Ramesh is actually not really the contentt of the coaching as much as his capacity to always try to think about the learning process of his student and what hinders him from being better. He is never stopping to think actually. Also, a coach with as much experience as nothing really to fear I guess...

Great video with great insights of GM R.B. Ramesh. I also like his bool "Logical Decision Making". This book once helped me, to find a good way in timetrouble to place my pieces against a better player than me and hold a draw. I'm sure without his advices in this book I would have spoiled my position.... I would appreciate if GM R.B. Ramesh would write some more books. this would really help the chess community

Players with rating 2300 cannot develop the pieces properly. This is shocking for me. It is difficult to believe in this.
