Hazel is a sweetheart!! Patience is absolute key when trying to clean and declutter with toddlers and you have got that down! Definitely paint it white it would make the room look bigger for sure! For the stuffed animals they have been bags where you put the stuffed animals and the kids can sit on them and it stores the animals away and if she wants one you can take it out for her. I’ve seen them on Amazon.
I propped up my phone and put on a random video while I declutter/repaint/redecorate my bathroom...I’m 28 weeks pregnant and my two year old keeps sitting on my broom. I look up to your daughter laying where you are vacuuming and laughed waaaaayyy too hard! So glad I just found this channel 😂 mom struggle is real
This is why I love your channel! The realness. The struggle of cleaning with toddlers running around and having animals lol. I go through the same thing. TFS Becky❤
I totally feel you with the nighttime nursing. I have a 14 month old that is getting her molars and it has completely disrupted her sleep. She’s up multiple times nursing. Even before that she would wake at least once. I’m not willing to let her cry it out either. Right there with you!
My pediatrician had recommended with my first boy (now 5 yr) and little girl (now 7 mo) to give rice cereal or oatmeal to fill their tummies so they didn't feel the need to wake for a night feeding. Hope this helps!
I am such a big fan! I love your channel because it is one of the only channels that is actually real cleaning. All the over vids have such little messes because they are afraid to how big messes on a big social media thing like UA-cam. But you have awesome organizing videos and you inspire me all the time! Thanks.
Don't worry about feeling guilty about getting rid of things that were gifts. They were given to be enjoyed, and once their purpose is done, it is ok to get rid of them. Otherwisee no one would be able to get rid of anything.
41 years ago I had my daughter and I used playtex bottles that you put a plastic bag in. She didn’t get gassy and when she was crawling around she could still drink. Was quite humorous.
Hey! I stopped feeding my son at 22months old but he still woke in the night as a habit. He stopped when I put him in to his brothers bedroom to share so hopefully when hazel shares her brothers bedroom that may stop the waking habits 🥰
Enjoyed the video. Hazel is such a little doll. Get one of those nets you hang for the stuffed animals you want to keep. I like the dark furniture, especially for a boy. You can do Noah’s ark theme or wild animals and goes really cute with darker wood. White is pretty too, I personally like lighter colors for girls. Looking forward to your next video.
Totally DIY the nursery furniture! I think white would flow well with your decor in the rest of the house, and boho is such a GREAT style. Whatever works best for you guys! I think it’s be so cute though
Hello mam, I am really impressed with your video, truly it's motivated me and one more thing is today I watched it 5 times 👍👍👍👍👍. Great job, keep going up and take care of your health mam.
So relatable, Becky! Cleaning with littles is so challenging. Trying to clean fast enough that you can make progress as they go behind you undoing it all! 😳 We got hand me down baby furniture the same color, and it just visually crowded the room so much. I would for sure just paint it if it’s in good shape. And ugh, the sleep deprivation is REAL! I wouldn’t do the “cry it out”, and was scared having my next baby come with one still waking every few hours. Usually around 18-24 months they start to stay asleep on their own. But night weaning is what finally made progress for us. And I would never leave them to cry, but being with them comforting them but allowing them to be upset while they settled themselves to sleep again was key. I’m there, just not giving them the thing they keep waking for (boob/rocking). “Baby Knows Best” is a great book that I wish I had read sooner about respectful parenting. Love your channel! 💚
I have seen a stuffed animal zoo on Pintrest. Looks super easy to build and the cage like bars are actually bunjy cords so the children can easily take stuffies out and put them back in independently. Use under the crib as storage for extra diapers and wipes - use a slim long tote if needed. White furniture always looks nicer and brightens up the space.
You could also put the child locks on each dresser drawer so she cannot take clothes out of the drawers to make a mess :) Use the toddler snack cups with the flexible tops where the kids can stick their hands in but it won't dump out when tipped :)
While your doing Hazel’s room for any video-what about putting her in her crib with a bunch of toys and books so maybe you would be able to get the rest of the room done. Yes, love the idea of painting the furniture in Hazel’s room white.
Have to say finding your channel at the perfect time because im expecting my second child and watching your content has helped me get a big chunk of the decluttering done in my house.
I think white furniture would look lovely, and i love boho. I have a daughter that is getting married next year, and she has chosen a boho inspired dress...its gorgeous. Hazel is so cute 😚
Yes, its all lace...2 pieces, white, with a small 2inch gap around her belly and she is having loose waves in her blonde hair with a ring of black flowers in her hair. I love the way you put your children first rather than household chores and you dont mind if your interrupted for cuddle breaks while your cleaning. They grow so fast and you only get one shot at it....keep on doing it your way, you do a wonderful job x
I clicked on what I thought was the new video. But the baby bump wasn't there ... I was so confused. Then I saw fall decor and the light buld came on! LOL
I would turn the closet into a book nook that she can use while you nurse the new baby. Have a cube shelf and fill it with books and stuffies on one side, and put a soft seated area on the other. This will ensure she's both supervised and kept busy while the new little one keeps you busy. Keep her most treasured stuffies, and donate the rest. Take all of the diapers and wipes out of there, and fill the dresser up. The drawer with the sling and socks is underutilized, so I would add the bathing suits in there, and fill the remaining empty drawers with diaper & wipes stockpile. The room looks great, and it's going to make things so much easier when the little one comes along!
Love the dark color of the baby furniture! Very nice! I think painting would be a mistake. You would have to paint for the live of the furniture. Also white would forever need to be cleaned more often, which is always taking paint off! Painted furniture sometimes chips even if sealed. Thanks for sharing! Wishing all the best with new baby!
Love the cube organizer in my daughters closet! Just makes everything easier for me personally 😊 I’m due in July and getting another one for the new babies closet.
Great work on organizing and cleaning Hazels room, she’s adorable! I think white would look great, if you keep it that color decorate it with neutral natural colors like a natural wood color
I would keep the dresser but get rid of the changing table. You won't have a use for the changing table after a few years but the dresser is big enough that it will grow with her as her clothes get bigger. In the meantime I would put all the stuff on the changing table into the dresser. Stuffed animals are such a pain in my house. My girls are 9 and 11 and have so many and of course they won't let me get rid of any of them. I like the darker furniture but that is probably because we used to have the same crib lol. Hazel is adorable!
If the changing pad would fit on the dresser you can use that as a changing table instead and put diapers, wipes, etc. In the drawers. That way you still have a dresser as an option as they get older since you wont always need a changing table. Ive done that so far with my littles. It saves space not having an extra piece of furniture in the room.
We are literally doing the same thing right now with decluttering. I am currently right there with you at 24 weeks and baby #3 ! Thanks for all the cleaning inspiration, love your channel bc its the most real!
Stuffed animals you can put in a beanbag thingy.its like a chair with a zip but its a bag.then you just put it all in there or just donate them. I love the furniture in the room.painted furniture in a kids room does scratch very easily
Mam everything! My daughter had a tongue tie and Mam was the only bottles and pacifiers she could use! We loved them! Our hospital actually gives them out in the "gift bag" we had never heard of them before that but I wish we would have. We spent so much money trying different bottles and pacifiers before we finally tried Mam!
I have two dogs and they also sleep at the end of the bed, we have a blanket folded for them to lay on and "try" to wash that more often...dogs i tell ya! 😅
Hi Becky moss I love your channel and I love your deep cleaning motivation and I love your daughter hazel 🥰🥰I love your son Noah and I love your dog Bella she is cute🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Hazel is so cute and sitting on the vacuum while you're trying to use it 😂 everytime I lay on the floor to brush under my couch my 2year old jumps on me to play horsies! 😂
STUFFED ANIMALS- Take a picture of your daughter with all of the stuffed animals then you could put the picture in her baby book so she remembers what stuffed animal she had or frame the picture and hang it up in her room then donate the stuffed animals for someone else to have memories with because they were gifts not only did your daughter love them other kids will too 💞
Great video. My youngest loved her bottle and when it came time to ween her it was so hard because when she saw a bottle she just grieved for it so seeming Hazel is tough I know. If she enjoys a soppy cup you may try giving her that when she wakes up to nurse. It may take a few nights but she will eventually take to it or give up the nighttime feeding. I wouldn’t let mine cry it out either. They are 43 & 41 now and I still won’t let them cry it out ... lol. Good luck
I just found your channel and congrats on the new baby on the way. That is so exciting. I have 3 too. haha I love that tornado quote. My daughter is SO messy and I can always tell where she was. I love your home and think it's so beautiful. Thanks for the motivation. Hey, I'm gonna send you an email about collabing. I think it would be so much fun. Hopefully you can.
There is a bean bag that is made specifically to store extra stuffed animals into for storage, maybe looking to that and have an extra piece of kid comfy lounge chair for the kids.
When i had my pitbull sleeping on my bed i used to put a thin blanket in top of my bedding so the dirt would get on that which was easier to wash worked good.
@@Becky_Moss yeah hindsite is always 20/20. My new little dog likes to sleep UNDER the covers. Good thing he stays pretty clean but if he got dirty i would literally have to bath him before he could go to sleep
My daughter is now 20 months old, still waking up to nurse at night but some nights she does sleep through without waking. My first 2 babes self weaned by 18 mo. I’m with you cry it out is not an option for me. In my experience they do just stop when they’re ready. I’ll add my first 2 babes were full term and my daughter was a premie - I personally think this has something to do with her nursing longer than they did. Good luck mama!!
they have a bean bag that you can use to put your stuffed animals inside and it sort of like a stuffed animal bean bag and so in all fairness I would honestly just get that cuz you could just stuff the stuff animals inside of it and she could use it as like a comfy cozy chair and that way you wouldn't just be throwing the stuffed animals out ! 😊 but this was super satisfying I have baby number three on the way as well and I am just trying to declutter my home less mess less less stress as you said I love that saying thank you for such a super motivating video!!!
I used Dr. Browns bottles with my daughter and plan to with this next baby that will come later in the year 💕 I have heard that the comotomo bottles are best for breast fed babies though!
I would like to recommend mam and pigeon bottle that i used for my baby. My baby was a picky bottle and we had try so many bottles branded out there. And finally those two only she can accept..
My two year old loves having shredded cheese as a snack and it’s always on the furniture!! Hazel having the cheese made me laugh! I’ve used dr brown’s bottles for all 3 of my girls. I tried to change it up but always went back to them!! And I breastfed. It never was a problem
I am also in the process of moving into a house and transitioning from the apartment life. I find myself throwing away/donating a ton and trying to be very minimalistic . I'm SO TIRED OF THE CLUTTER LOL
Don't know if you have access to goat's milk at a health store near you, or if you're open to that, but you could perhaps try to transition her from nursing back to sleep to taking a sippy with goats milk during the night. Or maybe you could try having comfort snacks ready in the evening that you can resort to in order to replace one night feeding at a time, and slowly build from there with your little girl, so she gets used to not waking and resorting to nursing back to sleep 😊 Wishing you luck!
Well... I can appreciate that she wants to help her mama though LOL! Have you considered adding an extra storage unit underneath the hanging clothes in your children's closets? Since their clothes are so small still, it feels to me like that can utilise the space better!
So motivating!! I have to go through my littles clothes! We have so many stuffed animals and I never know what to do with them either! We put most of them in a toy box
Born and raised in MI and spring is the worst 😅 now I live in WA and the mud on my dog is unreal. It rains as much as is snows in MI and we have a Golden Retriever. He’s always covered in mud and the dirt just sticks in his fur.
I think the furniture would look good white. I bought one of the stuffed animal cubbies that hangs up, it had a few different slots in it. Maybe something like that would work.
Maybe i would paint the upper part of the walls white and go with a more intense green (t.e. olive) on the bottom, this would match better with the dark furniture. 😊 not sure if you can paint this dark furniture white nicely
The fact that you come to your baby when she cries let's her know that she can trust. Crying it out isn't good. At this point, it's a comfort need more than a nourishment need. Maybe, another way to soothe other than nursing? Or perhaps shorten the nursing time, like a limit. Make the time shorter each time to where she feels like it would be better to roll over and go back to sleep?
Nuk simply natural bottles were the only bottles my kids LOVED mam was kinda ok for my daughter. When my son got older he took any kind. I never tried comotomo bottles.
Your family is so cute and I hope your child and you are safe all of your family
I would love the furniture white too, great idea.😊😊
Yea it sounds cool👍🏼😎
Thanks!
Yes! Go for it with the white furniture. It will brighten the room so much! 🤍

Do that DIY white furniture project! You can do the best! Your DIY's are really inspiring! Enjoyed watching this and I'll watch again! 😍

Yes do white furniture definitely boho/ farmhouse/contemporary 👍🏼
I love that color of furniture in rooms, makes them look normal and not colorful like playroom

That's so true. Took me some time to come to terms with it but seriously sometimes the gift isn't the right thing or you just plain don't need it.
41 years ago I had my daughter and I used playtex bottles that you put a plastic bag in. She didn’t get gassy and when she was crawling around she could still drink. Was quite humorous.

She is!! Thank you 🥰
I don’t know how you do it all.. hats off to ya, super mom! ❤️❤️ Thanks for the motivation
Also I Heard of putting the stuffed animals in a bean bag? Not sure all the details on that tho. ;)
We do have one of those bean bags in my sons room and love it! Just not too much more space in my daughters! Thanks so much for watching!! ❤️

I bet her dress is beautiful! Loving the boho style lately!! Thank you 🥰
Yes, its all lace...2 pieces, white, with a small 2inch gap around her belly and she is having loose waves in her blonde hair with a ring of black flowers in her hair.
All great ideas, thank you!!

I need to declutter the toys like NOW.
I feel like I’m constantly decluttering toys! Why are there so many?! Lol
@@Becky_Moss Yes, same!! 😩
Hiiiii Beckyyy! Really like your Channel! 😊😊💕
Thank you so much!!
Me encanto como doblaste las pijamas
You could get a hanging stuffed animal organizer or put up a shelf n sit the stuffed animals on it
Thank you!
Good morning!!❤️ here watching getting some motivation before I clean 😊
Thanks for watching!! ❤️
I am also in the process of moving into a house and transitioning from the apartment life. I find myself throwing away/donating a ton and trying to be very minimalistic . I'm SO TIRED OF THE CLUTTER LOL
SAME! It stresses me out! 😆
Thank you! 🤗
Well... I can appreciate that she wants to help her mama though LOL! Have you considered adding an extra storage unit underneath the hanging clothes in your children's closets? Since their clothes are so small still, it feels to me like that can utilise the space better!
Hazel is so cute and I love her name!!
Thank you!! 🥰
Becky....the coffee themed throw blanket/comforter...where did you get it?
My mom made it 🥰
So motivating!! I have to go through my littles clothes! We have so many stuffed animals and I never know what to do with them either! We put most of them in a toy box
Thank you!! 🤗
Born and raised in MI and spring is the worst 😅 now I live in WA and the mud on my dog is unreal. It rains as much as is snows in MI and we have a Golden Retriever. He’s always covered in mud and the dirt just sticks in his fur.
Also your daughter sitting on the vacuum is the perfect example of what motherhood is like 😂
Yes!! Mine is 1/2 Australian Shepherd, so she has the same type of fur! Such a headache this time of year 😅
I think the furniture would look good white. I bought one of the stuffed animal cubbies that hangs up, it had a few different slots in it. Maybe something like that would work.
Great idea!! Thanks 🤗
Avent anti colic have worked for all three of our kids.
Thanks!
Maybe i would paint the upper part of the walls white and go with a more intense green (t.e. olive) on the bottom, this would match better with the dark furniture. 😊 not sure if you can paint this dark furniture white nicely
Great idea! Thanks 😊
Thank you so much for the suggestions 💕
Hola bendiciones es genial todo lo que ases no te agotas despacio porque estas embarazada felicitaciones
Hazel is such a cutie! She's cracking me up.
Nuk simply natural bottles were the only bottles my kids LOVED mam was kinda ok for my daughter. When my son got older he took any kind. I never tried comotomo bottles.
