You guys are fantastic! Every time I get dragged by the algorithm I feel the hard work of each video, making me feel so good about being an old school enthusiast, keep the amazing work running like that, you are worth every subscriber!
Takin the absolute mick with those kinda prices!! 600k to just shy of a mil before donor!! Id rather keep the old one as is and spend the wedge adding a little finesse here n there to the drivetrain n chassis, as I go. Way more satisfying and personal.
These along with singers are great, but at what cost? will these cars be maintainable after 10, 20, 30 years? will those relatively small restomod shops will be able to keep the lights on for decades to come? of course these cars are so much more refined than 964 or 993, but in stock form if owner takes care of it it will last as long as Porsche as brand exists. Seems like we are killing these classic Porsches at cost of modern tech, convenience and trends.
@@kingchakazulu7762 I don't care how many Porsche parts it uses; it's still just a me-too 911 restomod (as the title suggests). Also, don't be childish.
What an awesome machine! I absolutely love the color combination! A million dollars! Good gosh. I think I'd rather have a mansion..... Nah, I'd rather have the Kaege. I can sleep in a tent.
really nice, but thats an insane amount of money for a 993 turbo s. There is a reason why they are dirt cheap... hoping you do a review on the NA, rear wheel drive version next.
I hate how unaffordable the 993 in general has become. I would love a C4s or even a Turbo.. that being said, this car looks good. If I had all the money in the world, I’m sure I’d be happy with it. But whenever I close my eyes, Singer is the car I dream of.
Another restomod claiming to be not just a restomod, but different! Want to make your restomod stand out from the crowd? Price it less than a new turn key 911…. Not five times as much.
I still don’t understand those prices. The only justification stems from the fact that there are people out there who are willing to pay them, right? Not from materials and work.
I don't have as much of a problem with making mods to the 964 or 993, but why oh why do you have to _backdate it_ and make it look like a Type D 911 from 1971? Why not mod an _actual_ Type D 911T or 911E to start with? Considering how _so little_ of the actual donor car is left after all the factory bits are removed and replaced with the latest and greatest modern components, does it really matter if the start date is 1970 instead of 1995? I mean, look at all of the restomods being done with Italian and even Japanese cars from the late '60s into the 1970s.
Thought it was a cool car but the presenter made me hate it almost as much as he does. Also… nearly a million dollars for a car that pretends to be another car? Make it make sense
I enjoy the entertainment I get out of the “designer” 911 market but I’m genuinely curious how many will stay. Singer is the hall mark of the “market” with their homage style DLS, as they no longer custom backdate 964s. Guntherworks is known for high performance 993s. RUF, *the only true manufacturer of related to Porsche, were ahead of the trend with their bespoke chassis CTR/SCR. Tuthill appeases to the more classic connoisseur with their early chassis 911K. As well as Keage kind of picking up where the Singer 964 backdate appeal. Let me now what niche brand I didn’t name. ⬇️

@@pietrolofria2100 how NY hispsters wear the 80s style jerseys Bill Cosby used to wear. Everyone thinking it’s self expression and totally individualistic but all ending up looking the same.
What I’m trying to say this is no longer a cool expressive individualistic thing like when Urban Outlaw started popping up 10 years ago, then singer took it to another level . But now Gunterwork, Tuthill, these guys and so many other guys are all doing the same thing that was groundbreaking and cool 10 years ago, but now is outmoded.
I love seeing high quality restomods like this, and I love the ducktail with it. Also the colors remind me a lot of the police cars from Dubai.

Are you being real???
A Singer will crack your spine...You'll be hearing from Singer's legal team in 3...2...1... haha!
Won’t be a worry at that price
They’re busy dealing with Porsche’s legal team
One day, I'll drive a Kaege Turbo and Classic for sure!

The interior is absolute perfection. Love the color combo.
Save the 964's and 993's!
No thanks, i'll take these restomods instead.
Saw a few videos of Kaege builds and love the visual details that are embedded
Looks cool, but that price is crazy.

These use 95% of their parts from Porsche, Singer uses zero %.
Why he sounded disappointed it was inspired by a carrera RS
Cmon! The car is $700,000 U.S. dollars. It should not suck.
Did I see a hint of AWD on the initial take off in the sand? 👀😲❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
A 993 Turbo is 4WD. The vehicle it is based off.
Yet another "me too" Singer. It's almost comedic at this point.
💯
These are cheap compared to Singers.

A lot, and Porsche still makes parts for these cars, any more questions son?

wait so do all their cars look like 930's but are actually 993 chassis and drivetrain?
Yes. He´s selling them for almost 10 years now, but for half the price back then. Originally you could buy them for 380k.

How many parts on a Singer is made by Porsche?
964, 993…996 should be the next in the evolution of restomods!
No, don't touch the 996. They are aging gracefully, snd people all of a sudden want them.
only a million bux for a turbo. What a bargain :)
Plssssss do a video on the centenario you guys have rn

Is Hyphen still at ISSIMI?

100% 👍
Those prices are absolutely absurd, especially for “pretty damn fun “. I can understand two or 300,000 maybe 400 but close to a million, GTFOH.
Beautiful car! But I'd never change the logos from Posrche to Kaege. That's sad. A Porsche is (and will ever be) a Porsche.
Privately, you can change the badges back to Porsche. So that Porsche can sue you, not Kaege. 😂
Arrivederci 👏👍
A 993 turbo that does not look at all like a 993 turbo, but is a turbo.. ok.

The whole boutique 911 stuff is getting so over saturated.
Six minutes and zero time without talking so we can hear the car. Don't be like Goodwood.
The ugliest part of a 993 is the steering wheel and they left it in?!
Come on.
The 993 is a much better car. Which is why no one touches them.
Guntherworks?
So bored with relentless reinterpretations of 911s...
