After trapping Shinnok, Raiden turned the amulet on himself and drained away his dark powers, restoring him to normal.
Finally Raiden give whats Shinnok deserve. A painfull prison...

@@samuraiedge2619 I don't know about that, I think it depends on what element. The gameplay is definitely better in MK1 than MK11 which was slow as hell by comparison but the krypt and challenge towers were definitely better than Invasions. Kombat League is bad in both with all the crap you have to put up with.

Now that him without arms and legs is inside the amulet imprisoned and lost into the sea of blood, the One Being won't be back in a vessel to oppose the realms anytime soon. All hail Lord Raiden, the master of truth and light, who conquered his demons in the dark. This is exactly what MK11 should had been all along.
Also Raiden Remains in this Timeline not erased from it and turns back from Dark Raiden to his Regular Self( How Mk11 should've Happened we would still have Present Raiden not a Mk9 Raiden)

Not a bad ending. Raiden's line at the end about remaining vigilant reminded me of his Deadly Alliance ending.
I really wanted to see this Raiden go haul ass on kotal Kahn for two reasons.
1. Kotal is a rat bastard liar and told past Raiden he joined earthrealm to fight against shinnok when he actually attacked earthrealm and wanted to appease shinnok.
2. Kotal is honestly a threat to earthrealm due to his massive mistrust of it and willingness to turn against it

Finally some respect to Dark Raiden
Now THIS is THE Raiden that I wanted to see. And not that wanna-be kid from MK1. I guess that MK Onslaught story mode is better than the one that actual NRS made. How did we came to this is just unknown to me. Because previously we got a good stories in MK series, but now the main games get nowhere near good while a dumb mobile game does. This is wrong, if you ask me.
Poor Shinnok he imprisoned Raiden in his amulet only to make him more fierce and stronger so that he can squash him like a bug he never stood a chance here

I love Dark Raiden defeated Shinnok and got rid off him why didn't Raiden do that in MKX after Johnny Cage defeated him it would safe alot problems
The sea of blood is the best place where to dispose everything erron black made the right decision to get rid of the hour glass so no one can't control it and Shinnok being trapped in the Amulet forever so no one can have it this time the sea of blood is a better place to get rid of things easily especially big threats.
Terminator also dove in the sea of blood so no one can uncover his secrets of the hourglass in his memory banks.
Raiden drowned Geras in the sea of blood which was a solvable solution to get rid of a being that can’t die.
Kung Lao and some of the tarkatans got thrown over board by Shao Kahn, Sindel, and the Shokan army as well.
I dunno, Wellingham still doesn't feel like a good Dark Raiden. It's a shame they didn't bring Ecpar back for Onslaught. His brief moments as Dark Raiden in X and 11 felt more impactful and dangerous
I've been hoping they'll go as far as Onaga the Dragon King and Armageddon in MKOnslaught.....

I think this doesn't make sense. How did Dark Raiden defeat Shinnok with his full power? He doesn't even have Shinnok's amulet.
People are really dumb they think raiden being “dark raiden” somehow makes him more powerful it doesn’t it just means he’s unrestrained but that has nothing to do with holding back his power or power level if you will only his attacks. Raiden normaly can’t defeat shinnok as it is much less elder god shinnok. Dark raiden defeating shinnok especially as an elder god is stupid bcuz raiden is a god him converting to the dark side only makes him a lesser god equivalent of shinnok🤦🏻♂️ he should be weaker. Dark raiden is a dark god not Eden truly evil and shinnok is an actual evil god and an elder god

Why do the MK writers do Shinnok so dirty? Why does Raiden hate Shinnok worse than Shao Kahn,Quan Chi,or Shang Tsung? I know Shinnok is evil, yet I almost take pity on him. He suffers worse defeats than any of the other MK main villains.
This is actually his best defeat in MK.
It took Raiden who got amped by amulet's power+draining the soul stones to weaken Shinnok again for Raiden to finally finish him.
Also Shinnok pretty much had everyone as his pawns.
Good guys,bad guys.

The way the MK11 and MK Onslaught show his defeat, it looks like Shinnok may never be a boss again. There's no wonder he isn't in this new MK game released 8 months ago. I don’t understand how dark raiden can take down shinnok at all I hope they provide some clips after shinnok trapped the deadly alliance and raiden in the amulet and then this random scene what the heck happened inbetween!!?? Dark raiden doesn’t increase his power he’s only unrestrained which still doesn’t amount to him being able to defeat shinnok
I think either shinnok got weakened again or raiden got ampd to do this
Raiden got the Power of pure evil within the amulette and when the shinnok tried to kill the sorcerers with the amulette he did let raiden free. So he got a lil Power Up
But then the three, quan, shang and raiden build an alliance and weakend shinnok trough soulstones which got emptied trough them.
I usually see chapter clips of character dialogue even if they arnt full animated cutscenes I wish we had that first so we could follow rather we just got this. I was ready to see what happened with the deadly alliance.
What I try to explain to ppl is raiden was defeated by the deadly alliance in deception so they are stronger than raiden he wasn’t holding back at all in that battle regardless of not having been dark raiden he knew there was no reason to hold back and they’d take over if he didn’t stop them everyone else was dead in aftermath of deadly alliance to deceptions intro

Said they couldn’t defeat a fallen elder god shinnok. He’s already weakened as it is and he was further weakened by quan chi who casted a spell long enough for them to become elder gods themselves by taking his power for his own

And so if the deadly alliance claimed they cannnot defeat fallen elder god shinnok and his wrath as it is then the power gap between them and a full elder god shinnok who was destroying other elder gods is as big of a difference as the deadly alliance had to Onaga with the kamidogu in deception they had no chance there and have zero against Shinnok as well. Raiden who was defeated by deadly alliance by extension and was relative to their power was shown to be brushed aside by fallen elder god shinnok twice in mkx at the start and then by shinnoks skeletal attack that was only meant to hold raiden in place while shinnok transformed that attack almost killed raiden and would have had raiden not healed in the jinsei. Fallen elder god shinnok is alone above raiden as it is as well as the deadly alliance. Shinnok as a full elder god who was defeating other elder gods and above them all is basically Onaga with the kamidogu except he didn’t need kamidogu unlike Onaga to become strong shinnok is naturally that powerful and just reclaimed that power so I hope to see videos where it shows or explains what you just explained bcuz if this is true it WOULD provide the evidence necessary for dark raiden to have defeated shinnok at his full power and even in general as a fallen god. The amulet is literally shinnoks full power inside it and his evil that fuels it so if raiden got the evil inside he’s just an evil stronger god still not equal to an elder god so the part where you explained shinnok was weakened I was like thank god bcuz a combination of raiden getting stronger AND shinnok once again becoming weaker I CAN BELIEVE that shinnok can be defeated by raiden that way but even if shinnok was weakened alone or raiden got stronger alone it still wouldn’t have been enough. Why is there no video clips of what happened after shinnok became an elder god and almost trapped the deadly alliance!??? The evil that dark raiden is,is basically a portion of the full evil that is shinnok and he carries. So basically you’re saying that full powered elder god wasn’t actually full power elder god Shinnok anymore once again and is now fallen elder god status again or close to it right? Shinnok would easily destroy shao Kahn with earths souls absorbed in mk9 like nothing here and also rival onaga with kamidogu so I hope to see clips bfr this video and after shinnok was about to trap the deadly alliance

I highly recommend you say what you just said here in all other uploads of this so others will better understand how this is possible as well. Although some ppl are naive to think that dark raiden is alone somehow stronger than an elder god shinnok when raiden is a normal god and even getting stronger doesn’t matter bcuz there’s a big gap between raiden fujin vs cetrion and other elder gods and shinnok was overwhelming his sister before….. I wanna see the inbetween clips if they have them

So you mean to tell me the deadly alliance defeated raiden in deception and they can’t defeat a fallen elder god shinnok yet raiden can defeat shinnok as an elder god when it only takes fallen elder god shinnok to overwhelm the deadly alliance and they overwhelmed raiden? You tell me how that makes sense 😒🤦🏻♂️ the only reason why raiden was stronger than shinnok in the end of mkx is bcuz shinnok was weakened defeated and raiden also absorbed some of his power and evil from the jinsei and then took his amulet which houses shinnoks full power so he got two power boosts (one from the jinsei having absorbed shinnoks evil and some of his power that way and the other from taking his amulet) he had a reason to be stronger and shinnok at his weakest…here he has no excuse. Dark raiden does not increase raidens attack power and even if it didn’t would t be by much at very best I could see him with that hypothetical power up which he doesn’t actually get to maybe defeat a fallen elder god shinnok but there’s no way raiden should be able to be close to an elder god shinnok who overwhelmed all the other elder gods at the same time and killed other gods of earth water and fire in that state
Dark raiden is just an evil version of raiden and even then he’s not really “evil” he just has no patience but what does that have to do with becoming faster and stronger than an elder god when you’re a god?
But to be fair they already screwed up with “fire god” Liu kang he was just a god by merging with raiden and of course their powers were going to be stronger than a normal god as it’s one with Liu kang but he should’ve at best rivaled an elder gods power but he took down kronica a titan…netherrealm story makes no sense in terms of pure logic in power ranking

Give me a break netherrealms lore is terrible they’re basically saying raiden is not a god or an elder god but a good above them basically a titan without saying it and for no reason while still retaining the title of “god” or normal god not elder god or titan. Only a titan like kronica should be able to defeat shinnok at full power. They love butchering shinnok in the most humiliating ways and love praising to Shao Kahn who is weaker than even a fallen elder god shinnok a slight bit yet shao Kahn always seems to make these amazing escapes from death or goes out in a way that doesn’t belittle or humiliate his character. Kronica blaze Onaga all had better deaths or defeats to them as well. I hate how they finally made shinnok an elder god only to belittle shinnok with having just raiden defeat him

Raiden lacking restraint nvr had to do with holding back how strong his power level was it just had to do with holding back his attacks and being rational trying to rationalize with the villains. They better have dark raiden have all the Kamidogu it’s the only real way he should be able to defeat an elder god shinnok this easily this is ridiculous
