Are you excited for Project Mugen?
no
Yep
Yes
yes, but is there any info on DokeV? the only thing i get is that they are focusing on crimson dessert
yes
Idk what's so weird, they released a trailer to get people hyped, get investors happy and giving them money, they hired people and are working on the game. We haven't seen actual gameplay, which means the game is nowhere near finished, so the reason we haven't seen anything at the conference is likely that there wasn't anything worth showing
It reminds me of the early videos of WuWa reveal. Basically I think we have a year or two to be completely honest
they have been doing interviews damn near every month about the game so its 100% not dead, its the fact they probably rushed to release the trailer
Based on previous games, mobile cross platform games tend to released two to three years since their announcement: Genshin from 2017-2020, Honkai Star Rail from 2021-2023, Wuthering Waves from 2022-2024.
So, when was the announcement for Mugen? Add two to three years to be expected to released.
To be honest, I don’t know when it started development..nor have insiders when it started.
I would predict it would come to late 2025 to early 2026 for beta or launch
It's fine. Let them slowly cook. We don't need more rushed releases only to be hit by massive issues during launch, which would only kill the game. Compensation rewards are nice, but playing a game that has been properly developed is nicer..feels like they respect the players and want to meet our expectations.
Hopefully they ARE cooking since NetEase track record is not looking to good.
Stellar Blade was advertised over 4 years ago.😂 Sometimes trailers are to drum up financial support.
Project Mugen is most likely cancelled or shifted into a different Game. No news, no beta, no nothing in 9 months is very strange.
I truly hope not!
Arknights Endfield literally has 0 news, leak and even rumor for 2 years then they drop Bomb news with post in Twitter
There has been leaks that it’s still in development and a beta should happen in a few months
@@sleep-isnt-my-forta752 always take leaks with a grain of salt
@@Ghashlord the same goes for your opinion ;p
The game looks sick, but it's NetEase, so my expectations are pretty damn low when it comes to execution.
Still better than Netmarble though!
Perhaps NetEase might be able to redeem itself, just as Blue Archive did for Nexon.
The only good game I could think of from NetEase, IS NOT EVEN REALLY THEIRS: Eve Echoes
Once Human is under NetEase and is actually pretty good and not predatory (at least by the 2 betas I've played)
Hey neatease got marvel rivals now but it’s too early to say since it’s in beta
It looks interesting, but Netease gives me pause. The game is also probably just being worked on in silence. Cyberpunk 2077 was teased in 2012, got a trailer in 2013, and then crickets until 2018 and would finally be released in December of 2020. Project Mugen could just have a Cyberpunk 2077 timeline. I hope it doesn’t release catastrophically like Cyberpunk though
isnt net ease gonna be in the summer game fest maybe we see something there
I hope so!
Is there any news?
@@icakiee3774
They announced:
- Once human
- Marvel Rivals
- some other ones that were announced last or it could be any two. Idk google yourself
I’m just saying let them cook, I know that it takes time to produce a really good, high quality game, they need some time to stand out- I mean everyone is enjoying wuwaves so they need to do better in order to make it big
Yup. The release of WuWa might push them back further!
I'm guessing Project Mugen would have higher system requirements and Covid is no longer a thing so it wouldn't have as wide a reach as Genshin does, so even IF the game is better than Genshin in every aspect, it still won't be as popular, I believe it'll definitely be a successful game but no genshin killer.
prob coming next year for more info maybe but it does take alot to make a game
Yup! I don't mind waiting!
yoh kinda off topic here but i wanted to know what happened to blue protocol. Like, is the game dead in the east and now not coming for global or something?
The game is still in the early stages of development
2026 is my take, 2025 will be betas year for Mugen
You know what I bet end of 2026 it will come out
I think the game won't be released soon, because there are a lot of mechanics, but I will hope that project Mugen will be released.
i hope we still get this game.
Dang, I really hope they come out, I’ve been really excited for it.
I really hope it will still release, I was so excited for it :(
Maybe wait for summer game fest first, been some rumors it might be featured there
Did it?
So did it?
@@icakiee3774not at all. They launched other games they are half way finishing or on their testing period. No announcement on project Mugen
Speaking about release date we have no indication that it releases at all at this point in time.
The game is either in dev restructuring or process of getting investors in planning the campaign. 2024 is a really difficult year to release since there are major game releases that won't effectively hype the game and if they force a campaign earlier this year I think it would just be compared to genshin mostly. But if they announce a cbt at the end of the year there is a good chance of a really decent quality of feedback to combat after wuwa release and zzz along with enough developers it can be speculated end of 2025 but tbh that's the ideal outcome
This isnt a Genshin Killer would be a Zenless Zone Zero Killer its the same style
I hope they're just taking their time
I need that anime GTA game
Waiting for this game as well
wuthering waves?
hey stix have you seen the game *Silver and Blood* the art is awesome
It's the NetEase of it all that's the big question here, but I'm tentatively (very) excited for this game. Part of it is just how much I want to see more games in this open world ARPG gacha space that aren't strictly fantasy. The further away from fantasy a game gets, the more I'm interested!
As to the time frame, I could see late 2024 _if_ they got started on testing before the end of July, but it doesn't sound like that's where the game is right now. I'd honestly consider it releasing next June to be pretty surprisingly early from the sounds of it.
The movement and modern techno pop-punk vibe has me interested but yes would need something other than radio silence
It's not uncommon that Devs go silent for months until they're ready and confident to reveal more. But I'm worried since its Netease.
I can imagine a game like this being delayed for many months if not years, it doesn't have an equivalent in terms of pure features that would be a f2p game, some spiderman mechanics, realistically destructible objects, a large dense city and ability to operate machines all that combined with the need to have regular content and online features on top of being a fully action RPG game is just too much to take on when the company is not some well known giant, even Netmarble couldn't release 7DS Origin in the promised window so I can only imagine how difficult something like project Mugen would be to develop
prob dont wanna end up like wuwa and tof launch
So nose to the grindstone phase caused by projects scope misestimations
Im playing way too many gachas with how many releases there have been so let them cook im all for developers needing the time to make amazing stuff
I was hoping it was a regular console game. It's a lot like American superheroes but with anime design. I'm very excited.
like i said that trailer doesnt really have an actual gameplay but more or less a concept gameplay so. you gotta expect the real gameplay of this game will turned out to be a dissapointed or maybe a good one.. so my expectation is very very low considering this is a netease game and i have many encounters of netease game just been a clunky p2w game for the past decade of playing mobile games
We finally find a contender for: "gta 6 will be out before this game" meme
You know I hope this game comes out before the jjk memes die because judging by how the world looks its probably inspired by shibuya so I'm expecting a lot of "shibuya incident" memes and when the story gets dark we start playing "you are my special" song.
summer game fest on the 7th says Netease games is showing trailers. maybe Project Mugen. Fingers crossed!
Project Mugen is one of those games that looks unique in its genre with its setting. Both it and Azure Promilia look like they add just enough to entice players despite gacha becoming less prominent in the west due to people no longer being at home or wanting content to be locked behind gambling when they're already pressed by one game in today's economy. If they have the correct monetization and gameplay to entice people, then people will be interested in it regardless of the genre being cost prohibitive for most. I enjoy Wuthering Waves, but I might drop it due to the gacha nature since I just can't be assed to spend hundreds of dollars for a chance to get a character I want anymore. Though I still play some games with better ways to earn currency or have good monthly packages like Summoner Wars: Chronicles (like 600+ free pulls a month via events, crafting and logins / 50k free gems per month separately / 2 5 Star selector battle pass), Solo Leveling (60 Banner Pull Battlepass + other free stuff), Astra: Knights of Veda (At least 3-4 pulls worth a day with events / sub models), etc.
If a game could have either 100% chance on the first pull for each banner and then 50/50 I might be interested. That or a season pass or whatever that gets you one copy of each new character per version and then the usual 50/50 for copies. Trying to be F2P+ on most things is starting to lose its novelty as now I'm just starting to feel like I'm playing a gimped game that others are enjoying or am just like a second class citizen despite having a subscription. I still play FFXIV and will go back to WoW before I play another gacha with a super predatory system like Genshin.
TBH, i did forget about this game
I really love how you make thorough research i really appreciate your videos alot thanks alot on behalf of all of us
maybe they're pulling a fnf and staying radio silent for eons, who knows
This is nothing new. It is common for gacha games to make a big announcement, then go silent for many months, even a couple years, before announcing they're ready for beta. The rarity is a company keeping regular communication during development.
My worry is the publisher. They have a habit of ruining a good game with bad monetization.
Yup. I don't think it's going anywhere. I think they're just hard at work!
Here's to hoping Mugen is the exception and not the rule. I am very interested in their movement mechanics so I will be disappointed if it's super P2W. By gacha standards I mean
@stixxy it will release when you eat some pineapple pizza
never
lol Azur promillia looks so Legendnever land 2.0 @Stix
haha I think it looks a lot better!
I’m too hyped for this game. If it gets cancelled I’m going to jail lmao
it'd be a waste if it's scrapped. I hopefully not and they still prolly be cooking.
Nothing happened to it, it's just this thing that not enough developers do these days called radio silence. They aren't showing off every single imaginable thing every other week and that's a good thing.
shiggy miyamoto quote about a rushed game or whatever
Will be more succesfull than wuthering waves.
It's a Netease game so even if it did come out on time, it's inevitably going to be an extremely predatory piece of garbage like their other games.
At least it won't be as bad as Netmarble's games!
I'm not surprised about cool stuff getting passed up anymore i already stopped caring honestly
I've said it since the beginning: the gameplay looked fake AF.
It's likely another Anthem situation where the game was still in preproduction hell and development proper didn't start until *after* the trailer was shown.
The game will either be cancelled, or if it does get released, it will be nothing like what was first shown.
I think the game is unique enough to succeed in a saturated market
Ive been hooked once their trailers were great but the game underperforms specially internet connection so I just gave up
Early broooo. Been busy nowadays bruv. Keep up. Hope you missed me❤
Always! Was wondering if everything was okay! haha
Gay
@@Dante_Kun I feel that, imagine TheOnlyGodAlive is guy and Stixxy fall in love him because of his pfp. 😂
Blud, stop flirt each other for everyday, that is so sussy.
@@Animfateblade874 nah hes cute
Project Mugen does seem too ambitious for me personally. Especially if it's a gacha game. After almost a year of silence, I won't be surprised if they end up axing the development and switch to smaller projects, or simply downgrade the whole thing to Genshin level 🤷♂
What 😲 no
Early development and netease cn is bussy With Diablo Immortal in Cn so the funding in this game is covered
Was waiting for this game to be released since the trailer was shown, I'm still clinging on this game to announce something 😂
haha same! We need new info!
Look. When you do shit like you know who with their "MMO" that never came out, then you can start a RIOT and complain about a canceled projects.
But PROJECT MUGEN already got a trailer. Which IT IS clearly something. Proof enough of their intention of making a game. Nobody spends money on SUCH A TRAILER AND cancels the game afterwards.
There is no game killer
That killer game it's the game itself 🤔
let's be real we all know project mugen is just investor bait for upcoming biggest netease game '' marvel rivals ''
Netease
NFT game for sure
Lmao yall too dramatic 😂
Arknights:Endfield got revealed a few years ago without even a single update for 2 years i think. This game is gonna be fine lol we'll probably see an uodate in like a year
There's way too many of these games coming out dude.
Netease 🫵🤣
maybe they have not started development and the trailer might just be concept
That's a very good point! Although they've shown us gameplay running around the city, so perhaps not!
@@Stixxy true but “the day before” exists as a game so we can’t be sure
they have released a "reveal trailer", not a "concept trailer".
@@Stixxy More than likely it's like the footage of just the world. Content has probably not been developed which is why there are no mobs in that trailer
Personally, I think this would either
1. Get cancelled
2. Morph into something new
The reasons are that despite all the attention this game has received, we've only gotten silence. Additionally, the game is highly ambitious, but only time will tell.
We'll have to wait and see!
I think Azur Promilia will come out first then Mugen and even so will be to end of 2025.
I think due to development disagreements it got canceled. Sad. It had huge action mmo potential. Looked like the gameplay minus the ugly swinging and awful car camera was... actually great.
Its a shame its likely canceled bc genshin impact plays horrible, and so does fortnite. I tried liking both.
Seems like theres a group ruining video games or those making them just don't have high quality gamer passion.
Yes
I need this game i am sure it's gonna better than wuwa
We'll have to wait and see!
me too
Ah, yes. NetEase, the king of poor marketing and game management.
The game looks awesome but it's NetEase
If you're interested in the choose to name Mugen you know you know
Hmm?
Project Mugen looks so good it HAS to he fake lol
Yeah I'm not holding my breath. I hope it is real tho lol
everyone refer to this one as another ''genshin killer'' while anything I've seen from It is a weird anime GTA with Spider-man elements lmao
An update about nothing, wild lol
People were saying the "game is canceled." I made a video saying that it wasn't true. It's an update to clarify the state of the game right now.
Who needs Project Mugen when there is Wuthering Waves? It's better than GenShit as well ~ 😎🍻
Wuthering is just another Genshin kinda game. and I am done with those kind of games with a natural almost empty open world and a mute MC. This Project Mugen on the other hand is more like a anime style GTA or WatchDogs game which is unique and can't be compared with something like Genshin, Honkai Impact or Star Rail or WuWa or ZZZ. Need more anime games with urban settings in either Japan, China or other Asian countries as Western Devs make games set in US, UK and Europe.
@@akhileshkannan8421 Nah, WuWa still the best ~ 😎🍻
@@GraveXSensei ok good for you. I personally didn't like it. Also got bored of HSR and HI3, won't even try ZZZ. Only interested in Project Mugen.
@@akhileshkannan8421 Turn based game is a waste of time, it makes me sleepy. I hope your game would be fun ~ 😁
It makes sense. They want you to know about it. when the marketing actually starts ppl will go OMG WHAT THAT GAME AHHHH
This looks like a very creative game.
Zzz and Mugen looks like the new gen of gacha.
Promilia has potential too
Man finally you said something good xd
Development is what happened
I think the game won't be released soon, because there are a lot of mechanics, but I will hope that project Mugen will be released.
Just let them cook, a game doesn't born from nothing and unless you do massive crunch in 8 months you won't do too much, the game probably is years away.
Unless you're Azur Promilia, which has already released multiple trailers, and has a publishing license for October 2024. But we'll see what happens with that!
@@Stixxy azur promilia tho has already a solid base from a previous game that could build money and labor
netease doesn't cook buddy 😂
