Ty Hardnett learns to ride a bike

I sponsor a boy through the "BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS" program. As a regular cyclist, I wanted Ty to be able to occasionally ride with me. He had never successfully ridden a bicycle in the first step was to find a bicycle of the correct size. Fortunately my friend and neighbor Pat happened to have one.
We started him off by allowing him to glide down the driveway at Pat's house without needing to pedal. After a few attempts he was able to do this. Enough for that day. The next video shows him actually pedaling at a huge church parking lot ideal for the purpose. This took a few attempts also and I wasn't able to show them as my hands were full holding him up. He got the hang of it and was able to ride all around the parking lot. Sorry for the fat fingers in the viewfinder -- I'll have to learn to do better.
