As a longtime Dolphins fan, I am not ready to say that the Dolphins are a Playoff Team. I've been down this road too many times. Tua is a good piece, but will the team continue to step up around him? Yes, we needed overtime to defeat the Jets. I am not impressed, but I am happy with the win. Tua is showing everyone that he is legit. I am questioning the running game, roster decisions. Like why is Skylar our backup?? Why haven't we fixed the Oline issue? Why do we release good players like Salvon Ahmed, Chris Brooks or play Jeff Wilson? Why didn't we try harder to keep Andrew Van Ginkel?? We gave Odell a contract?? Everyone on this team got paid and these are the results. Chris Grier better hang on to those receipts because I predict after this season we will be cleaning house. Tua is one of the few bright spots on this roster. We spent too much money for these results. These investments have very little return. I have so many questions and I hope as a Dolphins fan we continue to win, but IMO, Mike is not qualified to be our head coach. I would probably fire Chris Grier as well.
The whole issue woth Miami is Depth, the defense hasn't been at full strength ever this season and it's only gotten worse. That D has all but 1 pass rusher out and he is a rookie. The o ly reason jets were in this gane was, the DBs covered well enough but the line was allowing so much time QBs have all day to stand back there

Jalean Phillips is my favorite player on the D. They threw him out there too soon. He didn't participate in the training camp. They threw him out too soon. He returned quickly from a serious injury. Injuries are a name of the game, but they shouldn't be an excuse. We have to hold players accountable and sorry to say we probably have to clean house. Mike McDaniel has made some bad decisions while he has been a coach. Bad play calling, sometimes the plays take too long to call out and that forces Tua to burn timeouts. Or Mike gets rid of good players. Or we go to the bargain bin to build our Oline. We do the receivers drop so many passes and why does it look like the defense has constant issues with tackling?? We struggle as a team to play clean football. Until we correct this, we won't be a playoff contender. I have a been a fan for a long time, and I hate seeing Miami squander their seasons. They are a stout physical team, that will run the ball down your throat and afterwards they will fight you in a bar. I think Miami needs to focus on having a power running game, and a better Defense. I am sorry but the Dolphins don't really scare ppl, because they come across as more of a finesse team. A track star team. I want a physical, punch you in the mouth team. Either way, I will continue to support them. It just stings to see Miami breakdown every year in December.
