If you’re trying to build your email list and get more qualified leads in your business, you're in the right place.

“Hey *random internet person who doesn’t know me*. Want to subscribe to my email list, so I can send you more emails?”
🙄 crickets 🙄
I mean come on. We all get enough emails in our inbox as it is. People don’t actually want your emails. 🤷🏻♀️
They want your help. ✅
So the best way to build your email list is by offering them help in the form of a lead magnet, in exchange for their name and email address.
But here’s the thing...
In order to work, the lead magnet has to actually be good and valuable to your audience.
I see time and time again business owners just slap together some arbitrary content they have lying around, call it something fancy, and expect people to come flocking to their website to sign up... But it doesn’t work like that.
So in today’s video, I’m going to walk you through the 3 things a good Lead Magnet must include WITH some examples of great lead magnets to help you get started.

Love it! but I feel like number 1 (solve step1), 3(give the what), & 4(sample) for creating desire are very similar, maybe even the same thing for 1 & 3. What are the differences?
They are different! So solve step 1 would be particularly useful if you teach people a framework and X-step process. Give them the first step to show value. Give the what is more like these UA-cam videos, I tell you EVERYTHING on what to do (note, I'm not holding back any steps or info) but I'm not telling you HOW to do it, to learn the HOW from me you need to take a course. Do that make sense?

In my opinion it should be someone that you actually know and look up to! It doesn't have to be some great big guru. Connect with successful people, get to know them, make the relationship mutually beneficial.
Great video - explains why I'm always struggling to make a living. Seems a shame that in order to change this I have to pull all this cloak and dagger type stuff. I just wish it could be a case of making great free content then people volunteered money in appreciation for the hard work. But they just don't. :(

Ugh! Still so helpful! We love it. We've managed to make your advice work in different ways, but I'm still curious. 85% of our customers are baby boomers. We all know boomers love Facebook but to directly target them or have ways to get them to buy is a little harder. I haven't been able to find any advice that actually works. Maybe you have some for me?
It all comes down to understanding your avatar - their wants, needs, pains, desires. What makes them take action. Sounds like you need to put out a survey to get a more solid idea.

A mentor can literally be ANYONE! People get so caught up in having an "expert" as a mentor, but that can really narrow your options down. A mentor can be anybody that you look up to, who is doing something you want to do, or maybe they're in a completely different niche but have something you admire!

Great question! If you have the budget for it, Ads are one of the best ways to get cold leads! Otherwise, utilize social media to find new leads!

there is no real difference. they are both used to generate leads.
But what actually a lead magnet ?

2) every kind of Copy from landing page to sales page where customers travel from knowing the product to purchasing it ?

I guess both.
A lead magnet is not a series of emails - it's typically a freebie of some sort (think a guide, pdf, book, coupon, etc.). It's usually DELIVERED through email, but the lead magnet itself is the high value freebie that gets people to sign up for your list.
I have a doubt(probably a fear too), Alex. There’s this software called Conversion Ai(I’m sure you know about it). Will it or any other Ai take over over copywriting jobs?
Hey Ishwar, yes, they will definitely take away copywriter's jobs if they're a mediocre one because these tools could produce average copies too.
Like Seth Godin said recently, if you want to be a copywriter, either be an an exceptional copywriter or just don't be one.

Is there still a chance to get into it before those places get affected by clients turning to the ai instead of paying humans? Will copy and scripts that invoke emotions and make the prospect fall in love with our products always be a human's domain? And what about articles that involve deeply human storytelling?
