Just like many other reality shows, the characters involved would make the conversations in anyway or form they see fit but the aim/rough idea of what it should be about is given to them. I think they were told to have an argument or get popping, as a general outline of the scene given by the director or producer, but princess got emotional and ended up in tears instead, which is why Princess looked back to whoever in charge at 1:55 when she started crying.
