Love Youngstown. Born and raised on the Eastside. My family still lives there. I moved because I was tired of commuting back and forth to work in Akron. Graduated from YSU 🐧 💕
Go live on the Southside bet u won't love it. Dope and deaths heaven
@@deathvalley4833 I’ve lived in the Yo my whole life and still do and I don’t have a problem with any side of my town! Instead of people complaining about it how about y’all do something about whatever you’re crying about! Any city state or town is what you make it. @@imme8064 tell tito brown to do something about it. He don't care. So the murders r fake? The drugs and guns in youngstown r fake? Ur living in a dream world
My mother grew up on the Eastside. Graduated from East in 92. My dad grew up on the Southside but then he moved alot between states growing up. I was born on the Northside but raised on the Eastside and graduated from Hubbard in 2018.
@@deathvalley4833 wtf are you talking about? Every city has guns and drug problems, what Dream world are you living in? Problems only get fixed by the community not just government or mayoral office.
I worked at Republic Steel. Watching this video has me going down memory lane. Young men have their dreams, old men have their memories. Both men are sustained by what they have.
well said!
I would love to hear any stories you have
yes!
This is true of the entire mid-west. Steel, autos and other manufacturing were allowed to move over seas for more profit leaving the working class low paying jobs and not enough of them. The End
there's a couple cities that seem to be bucking that trend, but they were never as big into manufacturing as the other rust belt cities. im talking columbus, madison, twin cities, grand rapids, des moines
@@UserName-ts3sp Columbus, OH and Madison, WI are not only state capitals, but also have a massive university in the town. That's why they are thriving.
@@Sacto1654 i know. im just saying they are doing well in a region full of cities on the decline.
@@UserName-ts3sp cities like Columbus and Indianapolis while technically in the rustbelt, were never really built up off that era/economy, they grew later and developed off of other industries than manufacturing
You are correct. Globalization which started in the 60s and kicked into high gear in the 70s and 80s gutted the American middle class and created the huge issues today. It wasn't Walmart. It wasn't Amazon.
Thank you for covering my city!
called mill creek a decent park?? it is the crown jewel of ohio parks.
Sounds like something someone from the Yo would say
never been to mill creek... but from that pic, hocking hills is better
I have been in this area my whole life (35 years). Mill Creek park covers a large area here. At Lanterman's Mill (photo with the waterfall) they brought it back to life and will still make flour there. You can see the whole thing being powered by the water wheel in the building.
I tend to agree.
@@UserName-ts3sp However Hocking Hills isn’t smack dab in a city…do your research.
He completely forgot about IDORA PARK!!
Live about 15 minutes away from Youngstown. Yes, the surrounding areas are messed up and crime is pretty prevalent. But downtown is beautiful, and as long as YSU doesn’t die out, (not looking too good) it’s a great college town and feels like a small Cleveland. And Cleveland’s pretty nice. Lots of fight and passion in that city. Go penguins!
You mean as long as trussel doesn't fuck YSU over completely for football
Cleveland is not nice it is a dying struggling city that has lost most of its corporate base. It is still losing population today just like Youngstown.
@@r.pres.4121 Cleveland is not dying, there is constant housing and new construction downtown lately, Sherwin williams is building a new 650ft hq on public square starting next year and University circle continues to expand
THEO???
@@TheRealEthBootGD BOOTS???
The good thing is that Youngstown (Little Chicago) has made changes to make this a college town now, which took a long time but it's happening all around the downtown area. every city has a past, and I don't think true youngstonians will ever ever want to forget ours. The future finally looks bright for the area... slowly and surely but positively!
I moved from southern California to the Youngstown area. I love it here. There is a great cost of living, nice people, good food, and lots of opportunity.
Welcome to the area.
If by "Youngstown area" you mean "Canfield"... Sure.
@@jasono2139 Yes, Canfield.
@... If I was from Canfield... I wouldn't even acknowledge that Youngstown was within 10 miles of me. 😬
@@jasono2139 I hope you moved away then, you seem like a miserable person.
The trails and scenery may not be the tourist trap that others receive but, for as much of the natural beauty that Mill Creek has, I'd put it up against any metro park. I'd say one of the largest metropolitan parks in the US should probably earn a little more respect than "descent".
The designer of Millcreek park is the same designer of New York City's Central Park. 👌
Large doesn't necessarily mean good. I've been to Mill Creek, it's lovely but the surrounding areas and atmosphere are filled with dread due to dilapidated suburbs and industries north of the park. Metro parks are public amenities, they are attractive when people are actively using them, but since Youngstown lost so much of its population, it's feel kinda off.
@@tonysoviet3692 It's not really all that bad though. I've been (and lived in) a LOT of cities and this one isn't any better or worse than those. You have crime anywhere you go. And you have the good spots. Unfortunately, no city is without crime and degenerates.
I live about 20 minutes outside of Youngstown and must say you will not find nicer, kinder and more hard working people anywhere. Has the area fallen on bad times as the video indicates? Sure. But it’s still a very nice place to live.
It appears to be a very attractive city with a lot of beautiful architecture despite its urban problems.
It’s not that nice you definitely don’t live in the inner city
Oh ya super nice place to live if you enjoy seeing dope fiends n meth addicts every time you take a turn down a street. I live right in austintown . youngstown consistently ranks in the top 5 states with the worst rate of opiod use. Aint shit here but drugs n drug addicts
Wth are you talking about? Youngstown is an absolute shit show. Children get murdered here.
Lies. Some of its nice but half of its ghetto.
Grew up in Youngstown. Lived there for 30 years. Calling mill creek decent is an abomination. Downtown is definitely coming back to life a bit. The real issue with Youngstown is the culture. It is now the hood. Trashy people make trashy places. There are some incredible houses all over that city that are plagued by the culture and behavior
The real issue with Youngstown is Democrats... who could care less that nobody wants to start a business there, build a nice home there, but OH BOY they'll line their friends' pockets by dumping money into their pet projects and the terrible schools... Meanwhile Boardman and Canfield are highly livable suburbs. 🤔
Dustin Kaglic,
"Trashy people make trashy places."
So very true.
Just as true, if you pop a cap in their ass when they're throwing down trash or acting trashy, guess you gets thrown in jail. That's right, the one with pride in their neighborhood and trying to do something about it to clean it up. Taking out the trash is illegal.
Each of these run down hoods has been lorded over by the Democrats for the last 60 years. Coincidence ? No, cause and effect ...
I was born and raised in ytown...left when I was 27 and have been in portland,or for over a decade...growing up in ytown gave me that edge and work ethic that almost feels like a super power out here in the northwest. Wouldnt wanna be from anywhere else!!
I went from Youngstown to NYC when I was 23. The YO work ethic and scrappy nature of its people took me a long, long way.
Now it makes sense why houses are cheaper in Youngstown. Best place to live for people who can only hold bad minimum wage jobs and have to pay rent. Life is much easier here with cheaper housing. Moved to Youngstown from Washington 5 years ago and life here is 2x easier and more enjoyable as a consequence.
Honestly this episode could have included all of eastern ohio border towns and western PA border towns. Beaverfalls, Aliquippa, Beaver county as a whole. Anyone near the ohio river that depended on the steel industry fell.
New Castle, Sharon/Farrell, hell you could probably include Greenville since steel car left like 20 years ago
Youngstown’s decline is very similar to Niagara Falls NY. Like Youngstown, Niagara Falls was a prosperous proud industrial city that was primarily dependent on the chemicals and abrasive industries. When those companies were bought, many factories were closed causing rapid decline and rampant decay. Niagara Falls is an empty shell of its former self having less than half its peak population and switching to tourism and services has not panned out for the city.
Grew up in Warren, just north of Youngstown, but the same issues. My grandfathers worked in the mills after WWII, my dad worked at Lordstown 50+ years. Both my kids have Youngstown listed as place of birth. But I got RIF’d at a local bank, couldn’t find any local work, we’ve had to move south. Now I’m in Jax, Fl. Still miss the fall up there.
My family left YOHO for Florida too. In Miami now. I'll never get used to 80 degrees on Christmas day.
Having lived for many years in the Mahoning Valley, this video breaks my heart.
I love Youngstown born and raised here YSU is a great college beautiful park’s friendly people it doesn’t get the credit it deserves!
I actually knew about Youngstown for the aforementioned things towards the end, but there's actually one thing I consider more important. This east Ohio town was also the birthplace of Jim Cummings, one of the greatest voice actors of all time.
Too many to mention from and surrounding area: actor Ed O'Neil, Maureen McGovern, boxing champions, Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, Harry Arroyo, Kelly Pavlik, from football: Bernie Kosar, Coach Bob Stoops (and family), Paul McGuire, the Debartolo's, and let's not forget the one and only James "beam me up" Traficant!

I moved back to Youngstown after 45 years to help with my aging father. Nothing has really changed, they still only want manufacturing businesses. This keeps the pay scale low and worker skill level low. Not interested in high tech, even though they will point to a few pocket initiatives, but nothing will really come from these. After his passing, I will get the H$#L out.
Exactly- it's locked in some time vortex. A wierd version of America. It's like you were in a automobile accident- woke up without hands or feet, and the nuse or doctor refuse to answer questions. Twilight Zone. 🦖☄
See ya
I'm from Warren Ohio and have lived in Youngstown Ohio since 2001....our valley is way more than this 4 minute cliff note about this region and our influence on American culture. 330 strong forever- You need to do a better video on Youngstown and put some respect on the Steel Valley's story!
At least he did a video, That’s exactly what somebody from Warren would say ungrateful for anything. Tell me when you put your video out. Maybe we can watch it at “”Beautiful Packard park”” smh
We're still here i live in Youngstown ,Ohio born and raised
Great video and coverage of the decline of urban America outside of our biggest cities.
The mob ran this city better than any politician thereafter. Today's politicians can't seem to rebuild this once booming city and I doubt they will anytime soon. I'm glad I got to witness Youngstown in its heyday. It was a great place to grow up. Can't blame people for moving away and not coming back.
And no matter what people say or think about Youngstown the cost of living is great. Cause I feel yes maybe all those jobs has shut down but it's still decent jobs here. The cost of living is so very cheap compared to these bigger cities that you will definitely live a decent life. I've always said "If you can't survive in Youngstown you won't be able to survive nowhere"!
This could be a longer video. Growing up in Youngstown made me an urbanist. And I know the best you can hope for is stabilizing the city's population, but census estimates has the City of Youngstown hitting 50,000 residents by 2030... In 1980 it has 110,000 residents and was built to hold about 225,000 residents. It will always be home, but it's reason for being died with the steel industry.
...and the utter dump it looks like leaves anyone with a brain to realize they better live in Boardman or Canfield if they don't want drug dealers or section 8 residents for neighbors.
As a Korean from a small island btw Japan and South Korea, I have never imagined I will live a unknown small town like here. I lived in NY and NJ for 20 years, am coming to Warren and Youngstown next week. I am so excited, loved the view Warren and Ytown. People leave and people like me come in for the same reason, new dream. Youngstown, cool name. I already feel I became 5 years younger. Energy~~~~~~
I alwsys thought Ytown sucked but I miss it alot. I'm from the suburbs of Ytown and was forced to transfer when GM closed Lordstown in 2019. Its a great place to live, at least the suburbs. As far as cost of living and real estate prices it cant be beat. Great schools in Canfield etc.
My uncle worked at Youngstown Sheet & Tube.
My dad worked at Sheet and Tube... Then U.S. Steel Youngstown Works... Then LTV Briar Hill... His last steel job was at Wheeling-Pitt in Stubenville until they shut down the Mingo Junction mill
My grandpa worked there too
Dying town, never recovered since the steel mills left. Poor and very dirty city. Corruption everywhere
YTown born 1966 .. lived through all of this ... remember like it was yesterday .. living in CBus now but no matter ... Youngstown will ALWAYS be home
I was born in Ytown in 1966 too.
Contrary to the narration, US Steel has never filed for bankruptcy as this film declares. Though they went through some very dark times, particularly in the 1980's. Still, this short film does capture the sadness that is Youngstown, Ohio. I had always hoped that things would turn around, but the latest census data indicates the painful decline continues.
You only need to listen to the song Youngstown by Bruce Springsteen to know what happened to this city.
Too many past mayors and currently issues embezzled money Youngstown has over three million dollars missing from our general budget and we're being audited by the state
Worked in Youngstown for 45+ years, yes Y-Town has its problems but not as many as other towns I have seen.
Truthfully, probably only Flint and East St. Louis are worse places in America than Youngstown. I'm not being disrespectful, I'm just being a realist.
On a positive note however, of those three cities, Youngstown is solidly and clearly in the best position to make a comeback.
I honestly love that our forest aren’t a tourist trap bc now I can traverse the woods feeling like it’s just me and the nature :)
" It remains to be seen if electric cars ever become successful. If not, that GM battery plant will die just like the steel plants did"
I worked on the new battery plant. Absolutely huge!
Bruce Springsteen wrote a song about it. I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing.
This song is a pinnacle of lyrical genius
Youngstown will always be my home no matter where I live.
I grew up around Youngstown and work downtown to say it’s made some improvements is and understatement we’ve made leaps and bounds as a city
Youngstown as a whole is still a dump... Sorry, not sorry.
I just moved to Phoenix from the Youngstown area, and I couldn't be happier to leave that garbage pit.
Are you a homosexual?
We won't miss you!
Its very sad to see what Youngstown, Akron and Cleveland have become!
Youngstown was a mob stronghold for a long time. The former owner of the San Francisco 49ers (and current) are based out of Youngstown and fit in that group.
Youngstown is mentioned in the sopranos a few times, I thought that was really neat when I heard it
Fact. Most the strip on 5th Ave heading into downtown is all old mod houses. Ofcourse their updated but they still are beautiful!
Thank you for this sad but accurate program about my beloved hometown.
Being born & raised in Youngstown, I would see the smoke stacks puffing away from I-680 by the Meridan Rd exit. So sad to see it happen. Hopefully in the future, the city can get some big companies in the area (besides Lordstown Motors). Excellent video!! Definitely do a full documentary about Youngstown 😊
Not with their idiot Democrat leaders they will. You'd have to be corrupt or brain dead to start a new business there.
Wow that's pretty far away, would be a awesome sight though.
The smoke was coming from the crackheads lighting up. Nothing but dope and killings
From Youngstown the video could be longer, we have a very rich history, but fantastic job. Much love from the YO!
P.S. turn Youngstown into a college town. Renovations of the old building into student housing, condos for the Staff and Family, hotel for visitors.
What about Mickey Monus and Phar-Mor?
Born and raised here .. downtown Youngstown is so nice these days . So much improvement!
Yea downtown is statin to look better

"Decent park system" that's a huge understatement but ok. lol
Watch “Shout Youngstown” on UA-cam. It’s a documentary from the early 1980’s about the decline.
My paternal grandfather had relatives who lived in Youngstown.
Also the mafia played a big role I live in the Youngstown area
I am from the Yo!! May as well be Chicago now! Sold my properties and flew south! God bless the steel valley!❤️🇺🇸
I live here. The city really doesn't have a lot going for it in terms of draw. People say Downtown is nice but it doesnt have anything any other city doesnt have. Nothing really unique down there. Good italian food, of course. The draw to the city is Mill Creek Park, which was glossed over but I think holds up as one of the better Parks in america. It has a wide range of different activities and landscapes.
Sure Millcreek park is nice... But it won't make anyone want to move to Youngstown or spend money there.
I CAME TO YOUNGSTOWN IN 1997, AND SINCE THEN THE CITY HAS BEEN ON THE RAPID RISE!!! A CASINO/RACE TRACK WAS BUILT! WALMART CAME IN,! HOUSE PRICES HAS BEEN ON CONSTANT RISE, AND DOWN TOWN CITY LIFE IS HUMMING BUSY!! ITS A GREAT PLACE TO RETIRE AT OR START NEW LIFE IN! AND CRIME IS MUCH MUCH LOWER THEN PLACES LIKE NYC, CALIFORNIA, OR NEW JERSEY, NOT TO MENTION CHICAGO, OR PORTLAND!
Mill Creek Park is beautiful!
It is!...if only they could bulldoze Youngstown, it'd be even more beautiful!
Really! The mills closed because they did not want to comply with the EPA. They knew it was coming and did not want to put the money into compliance. Now they are finally realizing that this country needs their own mills instead of outsourcing to foreign countries!
This county has it's own mills... It's called Burns Harbor... and yes, trying to renovate dumpy old mills to comply with modern standards is often more difficult than simply going somewhere else and starting over.
I use to live in Vienna,OH ABOUT 15 mins North the city & it still growing
Isn't the Airport in Vienna?
youngstown was also home to Idora Amusement park
I'm a San Francisco 49ers fan and I know it is Eddie Debartolo country and the Eddie Debartolo building in Yougstown has the SF 49er logo on it.
Quantrall Bishop happened. For the second time.
The Youngstown murderer took the town himself
It would be to good end this with a big drone view of that old steel mill now! I was a kindergarten commuter. My mom drove me by that steel mill (second SUN of YTown) every school day for a year in the 70's. I NEVER NEVER would have imagined they would paint the roof! They painted the roof! The mill looks SO much better now and it does not stink. It used to really smell. They all did. The entire area around it as well looks so much better by removing the original mill housing projects and replacing them with nice housing and small parks.

I’m 72, grew up on the west side, left in 1975. Youngstown, it’s economy and people have suffered much since the days when I was growing up there. All these years and much travel later I know a couple of things to be true. Mill Creek Park is a unique and glorious asset for the area. No place in the country offers more great choices for pizza. I will add that, having grown up at a time when the mills were belching smoke 24/7, cars spewing their own unfiltered smoke, everyone burned trash and leaves in their backyard and nearly everyone smoked cigarettes, the air quality in Youngstown is a welcome sight to see.
Yes we fell on hard times. But I still have great memories of Youngstown. Especially of attending Youngstown Christian.
My 9th grade was spent at this school
I live in Youngstown, oh. And I have to say, it’s really not much for the tourist type. I’ve done everything there is to do in the area but it is a genuinely nice place to live, granted the south side has progressively gotten worse over the time. It’s definitely a great place to start a family. The mills have dwindled down to barely anything but they’re still pumping out steel and so much more manufacture product, we no longer have the GM plant in lordstown, however they implemented the new electric trunk into the plant and they’ve been trying to get everything together
One of my grandfather's was a arsonist for the youngstown mafia after the Korean war
Was he the one that they whacked over by Canton, or was that the bomb maker they used? I watched another documentary a while back and I can't remember if the guy was a torch guy or a bomb guy.
@@rudyschwab7709 neither as far as I know.
Sadly, many of our great cities have fallen victim to overseas competition. Our government needs to step up and protect the american worker now more than ever.. Detroit, youngstown, Buffalo, are just a few of many that as the steel industry and the auto industries have moved quite a bit overseas, these cities are disappearing fast.. falling into blight... and US Steel, Republic and Bethlehem steel plants all disappeared in the late 70's early 80's and have crushed this part of the country... Manufacturing and WWII got us out of the depression.. the current politicians think another war will do the same.. but sadly, the Manufacturing jobs that really helped during the war and to pull us from the depression no longer exist in this country. Unions have priced the american worker out of business and teh government not protecting the workers have hurt just as much. It's time to realize... if they have been in office for more than 2 terms.. THEY ARE THE PROBLEM.. vote them out!
Looks like you are pretty clueless about facts.
Bad greed based decisions by gop managers, refusals to modernize, profits went to exac bonuses. Crap products, crap management killed those businesses.

There are towns like this in Ohio, but nothing beats what I have seen just riding the metro through East St. Louis.
Was born in Youngstown and grew up in the area before leaving in my teens. In chronological order, what happened to Youngstown, and that whole region basically from Cleveland to Pittsburgh, was (1) the industrial workforce that was there got a sense of entitlement about their jobs and work conditions, not believing that they'd ultimately get what they felt entitled to, (2) their employers, incapable of meeting the demands of that workforce, either folded up shop or moved their operations elsewhere, causing (3) a mass exodus of people, particularly skilled workers, educators, and others who make any area thrive and grow, whereupon (4) the lack of a sufficient tax base hindered the area's ability to maintain its infrastructure, resulting in bad roads, bad schools, a general sense of decay, and in the area not being attractive to businesses seeking capable employees, (5) as future generations grew up there (mine included), our motivation wasn't to stay and build, but rather to get the hell out at the first opportunity and pursue our lives in places where there was greater economic opportunity, and then to add insult to injury (6) the people who've stayed behind, being less than the sharpest knives in the drawer (members of my family being among them), angry and bitter over their plight, have inexplicably veered politically toward the party that has aided and abetted the very things that resulted in (2) through (5) - Republicans. It's a self-perpetuating if not accelerating cycle, it hasn't broken in at least 40 years, and it's not going to break - ever - unless and until the people there elect politicians with socialist tendencies and an inclination to do what needs doing at the risk of their political futures. Every time I visit Youngstown, sadly, I'm reminded of all of this, and am grateful that I was able to leave.
In my opinion, probably only Flint and East St. Louis are worse places than Youngstown (of American cities that size).
However, of those three cities, Youngstown is by far solidly in the best position to reinvent itself and make a comeback. ESL for sure is too far gone, and until they get the water situation fully figured out in Flint it probably is as well. Youngstown still has many strengths they can build on.
Though historically you are correct on the demise of the steel industry in Youngstown, but you need to do more research on where we are today, otherwise you just have another puff piece of decay! The so called decent park, as you call it, is the second largest inner city park in the country, second only to Central Park in New York. It has two professional public golf courses designed by Donald Ross. Also to be found is a world class art Museum, and a downtown area that is growing a lot faster than you indicate! Just to the west of us in the suburb's is one of the largest county fairs in the country, And a higher % of professional sports legends and coaches than most major cities! Youngstown and the surrounding area also has a rich history in some of the best musicians around and The Warner Brothers are from Youngstown. I could go on but instead will offer this challenge: Come to Youngstown and look me up, I will show you why Youngstown is not a forgotten place! Bill Scheetz
Ive been there many times, and I generally feel I got this video as accurately as I could based on my research and my time there.

I wish I had 10 more properties, because I could rent them all out in a couple weeks with solid tenants. Is this phenom all over Youngstown? Of course not. But we definitely have become appealing to the 30-45 yr old age group who are well educated and professional. Also, people are moving here from CA and NY to retire because of the lower cost of living, and people who can now work remotely are starting to move from bigger cities to Youngstown - one of my renters just moved cross country from Arizona to live here, and the company they work for is not in Ytown. I have another moving from Baltimore to Ytown, who is also a remote worker in March.
Unfortunately, despite my high rents and in demand professional rental properties, I've had a difficult time finding an investor to help me transform the street I'm buying. NOT because I don't have the proof that the concept is viable, but because too many of them only see what you see. Perhaps there's something going on here that you don't see with just a visit, or if you still see Youngstown as a defeated rustbelt city. Fortunately, there are a lot of people who see it othewise.
40 years of corrupt or inept leadership (in Ytown and the county) is what happened. The whole county suffers because of this resource drain of a city. This is one of those places in the country that will never rebound because it has to slid too far to rehabilitate.
The only thing that will fix Youngstown are a lot of bulldozers.

I live here in youngstown and it's not that bad if you're familiar with the area and people in the city but if someone is new to the area or doesn't know much about youngstown it would be hard to live here
There is alot more history that could have been added to this video. The mob, the corruption, the embezzlement, being named murder capital of the year one year. The drug crisis, the crime rate etc. The only good thing left here is the food.
They don't make Brier Hill pizza in Idaho. In fact, they can't make decent pizza here in Idaho, or wedding soup for that matter. No one even knows what it is - how I miss it.
Correction. I went to a flea market out there and they were selling “2 time defending murder capital or the us. Come heavy or don’t come at all shirts” 😂😂
I moved here in early 90s but job had me move across the border but when I had a chance to buy a house in July of 2020 I chose to move back.
They have revamped the downtown area especially on Federal St some of the bars and restraints off some good food and music.
East side youngstown Ohio ❤❤❤❤💪
At least it use to be a beautiful city back in the day.
The city center still is! Our works department puts a lot of pride into making sure the university and downtown is well taken care of. With companies like YNDC (Youngstown development corp) either tearing down homes which cannot be saved or renovating homes with good quality craftsmanship and materials will sell them back at reasonable prices and work with the economically disadvantaged. There’s a lot of rust on this city, but a lot of us are willing to put in the work to make it shine again.
What happened? A crazy Cleveland Browns fan by the name of Elpresador took it over and made it into his own personal home!
The biblical beast himself
Who is Elpresador?
@@joanncolaluca9451 do a UA-cam search of him and you’ll find out!
That's what happens when you live in the past and don't keep up. Carmaker barely made it, but only due to patriotism.
Millcreek Metroparks is more than just decent, it's literally one of the finest metro parks in the country.
Sadly, it’s a very depressing city to visit
Sadly, it's a very depressing city to live in also.
US Steel was never remotely threatened with bankruptcy.
We lived near Youngstown from 76-79. I went to YSU for a year before we all moved south to get away from the winters.
