Dudes we had 132k player peak on PC today, invasions and co-op left and right. It's incredible how many people this game can pull in. Wonder if it'll top CP2027's DLC comeback peak of 260k. Hell, maybe it will go into 300k and beyond. Maybe even 500k? Crazy.

This game’s invasions are so cringe. DS3 had potential for bad ganks but ER is next level BS. Not worth the frustration for me but it’s nice to watch other people deal with it 😅
A lot of aspects of DS3 pvp were also bullshit, but From were like, let's turn that up to 11 in Elden Ring

@@acolddarkgentlebruh8205 its money, its always money. look how much marketing was put into ER compared to the other games. It also got big with a lot of younger players that got introduced by corny edgwalking l2 spamming tiktokers and tourist ytbers.
I mean yeah, most players who play multiplayer in these games, play every aspect, dueling, co op, invading. I think it’s usually only newer players who create some fake divide in their head.(or when it’s fun to ham it up on stream)
It’s definitely not as easy to get into invasions for the newer players because of blenders, but it’s not like it’s some sacred act only a few players partake in.
If a shit player is a shitty person in one aspect of the multiplayer, chances are they’ll be just as annoying no matter what they do.
Everyone is supposed to die all the time in souls games and you barely lose anything when you do, it can be frustrating but the biggest tip for new invaders(who aren’t seasoned and established content creators) is to not let frustration become genuine anger and don’t take anyone you meet online too seriously.
Idk about that, one thing is doing co-op, another thing is ganking. I dont see many invaders or duelists being dedicated gankers. Too boring.
Guys like that do a handful of invasions, pick off some scrubs, get their cheeks clapped by someone like jee, and then return to ganking but they can say they invade now.
@@eldenlean5221 you gotta factor in the fact that it takes no effort and that you can definitely voice chat with some friends and laugh at brainlessly blowing people up. I haven’t in a while but I’ve been part of casual but still intentional Ganks.
I can tell you it’s just as funny watching your cooperators explode because they did something stupid and got killed by the invader. It’s all laughs.
It’s not about skill or being better than the invader, lots of invaders enjoy a good gank spank.
After spawning into genuine blenders as an invader it’s refreshing to get a casual gank where you can tell it’s three dudes goofing off on discord or something.
I dunno about that. PvPers dunk on co-op as a mechanic all day long. Perhaps most people in the community probably never co-oped a full dungeon outside of TT events. I'm not disagreeing in principle though, I do see co-op people coming in as reds when I recognize them, as I sometimes also invade TT hosts after coming in as blue. But raw numbers wise? I dunno, I think committed invaders are less likely to touch co-op, not more. My experience seeing co-yellows is that most of them do not have PvP builds, unless they do have the gear but prefer to play with non-meta stuff until the reds come in, which can and does happen.
All of these examples are out of meta range though. I assume meta reds dislike co-op above average.
