Good morning Christi. Enjoy your RA chat. I have been dealing with RA since I was 27 YOA. Just wanted to offer my opinion regarding biologics. For years I have been off and on all the different meds for RA, from coated aspirin to gold injections. I have been using Enbrel for the past ten years and it has kept me moving. ( Even though I have sustained quite a bit of joint damage) My daughter was diagnosed with RA a couple of years ago and I got her into see my rheumatologist ASAP. She was prescribed Enbrel and within 6 months was totally symptomatic free. I honestly believe biologics are the way to go. Cheers.

I am sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis too, but just think...from what rheumatology has learned from you and so many others she was able to get the best treatment for her right away instead of waiting. Its good to be reminded that its not a solo struggle, but that others are also facing very similar challenges.
You've just pretty much summed up my -last 5 years- journey in one video. That must have been an emotional one to make (whilst liberating and rewarding too I'd imagine), so again, Thank you.
It was just what I needed to hear after pushing myself too far (again, lol), seem's to be a challenging habit to break when your working with a shifting finishing line ;) but worthy one, none the less.
You deserve all the joy you can find, I hope for lots comes your way.

Everything you said was what I needed to hear today. I am newly into this journey and my support group still thinks if they push me I will be like I was again before RA.
They are wonderful but I was such a doer and they were so spoiled. (We are talking about grownups lol) Nore later but Thanks again
