Testing Night Mode on the DJI Mavic 3 in Valdese, NC

In this video, we take the DJI Mavic 3 out for a night flight in Valdese, NC, to put its "Night Mode" capabilities to the test. The stunning low-light performance of the Mavic 3 truly shines in this real-world scenario, capturing the beauty of Valdese after dark with impressive clarity and detail.
All night flight operations were conducted in full compliance with FAA rules and regulations for Part 107 operators in 2024. As required under 14 CFR § 107.29, we obtained the necessary waiver to operate at night, ensuring that the drone was equipped with anti-collision lighting visible for at least 3 statute miles. We adhered to all visual line of sight (VLOS) requirements, maintaining continuous observation of the aircraft throughout the flight. Additionally, all operations were conducted away from populated areas and in accordance with local ordinances to ensure safety and compliance.
