Yes, when it comes to battery, you're right. It is not sufficient but I tried something. I kept my phone on power saving mode when I had to be out for a day and battery went from 100% in day to around 60-70% in the night, so that was a great part. And the charger is amazing, takes around 25-30 minutes to completely charge the phone.
Moto edge 20 seems to be a good contender as well considering the price. A fresh wave of change as well. Maybe you review it as well
I love this launch honestly because it offers incredible aspects in the area of both style as well as performance. Good choice with the customized Dimensity 1200-AI chipset.
I am also using one plus Nord 2 since last 10 days and yes SOT is in range of 5 to 6.30 hours, it will vary on applications you use. It needs to be improved by updates.
Now expectations are highly increased from upcoming oneplus phone
If they maintain it then its very good, if improve than it would be best. Only the best thing happened after karl pie left is oneplus nord 2 and expecting more from 1PLUS
camera features of this oneplus phone seems great. i also like the dimensity 5G chip used here

I have this phone, and the fact about battery is correct.. I even tried to optimise it by switching off many background apps, connections, but doesn't help that much... But yes, charging is superfast, literally compensates for all...
And yes front camera dynamic range is like poorest...but in room it works brilliantly...thanks a lot for the reviews...

Battery performance has improved significantly after the update. Yesterday I got 8 hrs SOT with 30% battery still remaining.

@@KandukuriSaisrinivas no, don't buy OnePlus nord 2, it won't be better for u cuz as u mentioned u want good front camera, its front camera is just decent, does its work but not the best, rear is best tho, u can search for other phones in this price-range (like Iq or oppo/vivo)

I bought the phone, I'm happy with the performance as I'm not into gaming and all but I feel the battery issue but as it is balanced by a warp charger I'm happy with the purchase.

I bought Nord 2 on pre order sale , as I'm in a high school all my day goes in attending online classes ( zoom ) , so my one class lasts for 1 ½ hrs. In that period of time it uses approx 22-28 % battery and multiply it by 3. Other than it till there is very liitle stuff that I do on this phone , so at the end of the day it lasts for 7-8 hrs per day. Battery charging is osm and battery life is better than decent ( almost I say best ).

I'm facing the battery issue too, after the latest update.
Prior to the update I got a day and a half and now about 9 hrs (not screen on time). Regular use.
Also lag in some animations like drop down notification and quick toggle settings and finger print scanner too

I am using this phone for last 2 weeks and I didn't notice the notification panel bug till now. But there is another bug which I came across, it was that when u use quick reply i.e. use notification panel to reply directly to WhatsApp, etc., Then while typing the edge letters of keyboard, which are q and p, does not capture your tap, it happens almost every time..... No issues other than that, battery life can be accepted given u have a 65W charger. U can also do decent gaming here, to thumps up. I would prefer Nord 2 over 9R

Watching this on my Nord 2, the update did optimise the battery performance but it wasn't much of a big deal for me as I'm not into gaming or any heavy usage of such sorts plus the charger is more than enough to compensate. Overall I'm really liking the Nord 2.

I bought this this phone 12 Gb version by cancelling OP 9R, I feel like I made a right decision because here I got a 12 GB version and better camera. Initially was thinking about the mediatek processor but I'm completely happy now, I'm not a huge gamer but play games the performance is good and even the battery is good.
Finally I would say that OP made a great move after a blunder 9 series..

Have purchased it on the first day of launch and it been almost 20 days. I have used it for normal use(8-10hour on the internet, 1 around an hour call, and sometimes for gaming), it gives me almost 1 day above battery. and in normal use, its experience is quite good.

My battery in 90hz is around 4 hours 45 mins and keeping it 60 hz pushes it off to 6 hours
Do note to switch on auto optimization for apps and the background activity which stops the battery draining

I am getting 8+ hours of SOT. 60hz, AOD off, fingerprint scanner on, sometime wifi sometimes 4g+
It is a good choice for overall performance as well as specific gaming since it is integrated with the efficient Mediatek D1200-AI processor.
Isse vi acha choice hai Iqoo7 or vivo x60 (offline main 30000 available) because one should pay 30000 for Snapdragon 870 not for dim 1200.... Nord 2 deserves maximum 25000 it never deserve 30000.... because now Iqoo7 realme gt neo2 vivo x60 are far more value for money devices....dim 1200 is not consistent performer but sd870 is consistent stable optimized processor

I have realme 7,my phone once got heated too much while i was playing pubg yes of course i played it for around 2 hrs continuesly but the heat felt on the screen as well as outside the phone case.When i noticed this i suddenly switched off my phone and it took around 10min for it to get back normal.But later i noticed that my phone has been puffed up.So should i show it in service centre,phone is under warranty.Yes but phone is working perfectly but m worried about its overheating problem, pls answer me🙏🏻🙏🏻

Yes. I bought 15 days back nord 2. Only issue is with battery life. Hardly 18 hours will get. So they should have been improved this thing. Remaining other features ok for me. 😄

I purchased my OP Nord 2 on 27 July, since then I am facing a problem that when I take pictures of text say a page, the text in the center of the page is well foccused, but the text at the top and bottom of the page, is significatly blurred, this problem is not seen in phones of other makes, is this a problem with nord 2 ??? I would like to know experiences of other purchasers of nord 2 if you are experiecneing the same or not.

So happy with this nord 2 I had bought NORD CE but I was having issue in my flash it was not working neither in camera nor in flash exchanged that with nord 2 and I can say I'm a proud user of NORD 2. Having no issue with it I also play bgmi a lot but never had any kind or frame drop or anything like that. Thank you

9R's camera is very poor. Won't click decent pictures. I had it but returned it. If you want better camera at lower price go for nord 2. If you want Snapdragon and better display but avg camera is fine then go for 9R.

Battery gets drained very quickly. Can one Plus optimize it through software update ? Rest am good with it.
