I just saw the film and Ludwig Goransson did a phenomenal job. I would've liked to hear a Linkin Park easter egg of their interlude The Requiem/The Radiance but other than an amazing score.
Jerry Goldsmith we miss you. Now soundtracks are mostly textures. Oppenheimer soundtrack isn''t bad though but too much texture in my opinion. In the movie you mostly hear the textures not the melodies.
You know, it's great. But after awhile, they all start to sound the same. I wonder what the next wave of soundtracks/soundscapes will sound like. There was the Williams era, that subtle but intense HEAT time that took over action films, the Zimmer era - I wonder who takes it next and more importantly, where to?
@@BelleMoonbeam Holy hell… I can’t believe I didn’t include him in this. I’m actually embarrassed- I love his scores and NIN. I often tell my Pops how the guy who was once blamed for violence and drugs in children, was actually a genius. Bowie saw it. Cash saw it. Many saw it- and then he went on to create incredible music scores. (Can’t believe I skipped him here.)
Nicholas Britell for me, I know they’re TV show soundtracks but Andor and Succession both have music built around these recurring melodies/themes which… absolutely nail the tone of the shows, can be varied enough to tell you a lot about the character’s emotional state in the scene and the melodies themselves are so annoyingly and brilliantly catchy. Give this man a major motion picture to score and I think he knocks it out the park, like Zimmer/Williams etc before him
I have been collecting movie soundtracks since 1956 , Bernstein , Goldsmith , Newman , Victor Young, Williams etc, and people think this is amazing , give your heads a shake , and go back and listen to real music !
That is why I put etc , did you really expect me to name every brilliant composer , it was left open for people to fill in the blanks of their choice, and yes John Barry is up there with the best!
the soundtrack in this movie was amazing !😍
Congrats for 1k subscribers🎉
woah, amazing score, amazing cast, amazing director, amazing crew, THANK YOU MR. NOLAN. We can learn so much from Nolan....😍
The way you want it
Nice comment, but it's "whoa."

the requiem / the radiance would be an incredible combo, great choice mate
This should still be the soundtrack of the new trailer.... majestic like Blade Runner opening
Hmm, an Inception of 2010's Christmas present and re-wrapped for 2023.
Thanks for this 👍

Sort of like Bladerunner meets Batman. Good enough for Oppie.
Not repetitive enough for me.
Is this Ludwig Göransson's actual score for the film or falsely-accredited music, though?
Not legit

All music have similar beats. My fav is Howard shore from lotr.
