I invest in few of these but my portfolio is still down by approximately 20% and there's no hope in sight. Buying is not even an option. Any recommendations on how to scale up my returns before selling off to draw even will be highly appreciated as I am losing my mind given that my retirement draws nearer.

The importance of mitigating risks might be why many investors are turning to advisors for guidance.

The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 87% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

I would like to ask, how did you achieve it? I've been trying to stick with index funds. I feel these new interest rate hikes could crash the economy. I'm looking for a better investing strategy, as I have a lump sum that inflation is steadily eating up.

I’m cautious about giving specific recommendations as everyone's situation varies. You may consider independent financial advisors like 'Sophia Irene Powell " I've worked with her for over 4 years now and I'd gladly commend her exemplary service on a public post.

Thanks to You Mate, I have realistic expectations for this bullrun. Got into crypto early this year and I have truly learned a lot from you about cycles, crypto and markets as a whole. Now I know that all assets/markets are heavily tied to eachother and global economy has very high impact on Crypto. Thats why I am very cautious about when traditional markets top and how this affects Bitcoin and altcoins. If i havent discovered your channel I would have blindly holding instead of engaging the market........ I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin. in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay's, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

One thing I know for certain is crypto is here to stay, the only thing that leaves is the people who don't manage their risk. Manage that, or the market will manage it for you. With the right strategies you will survive.

I got to the end and wondered, “did he ever describe a portfolio?” It seems he only listed criteria for a portfolio, not an example. Decent advice but too generic for my taste, essentially saying ‘buy low and sell high’ true but not that useful.

Median household income in the US is about $80K and average, not even median, retirement savings at age 60 is maybe $300K. It might be more useful if you all tailored content in a generic way that could apply to the median household and the the 1% crowd. This video did that. I know the 1% are the ones keeping your lights on but there's a huge market outside that group. Give some hope to that couple that might have $400k all in pretax and wants to retire in 2 years at 60. it's possible and there are lots of factors that can make that more likely and strategies to keep from losing it all. It's possible to live well on $5000 a month in many places in this country and outside.

If one assumes the bond/stock "outperformance pendulum" swings back and forth, the all stocks portfolio is due to do the worst for a decade, bonds will do best, and diversified will do somewhere in between.

I can't find an Early retirement calculator that allows you to input an early retirement age(59), but with a later SS filing age(67). iow, live off investments for 7-10yrs then file for SS $ It seems ALL calculators insert something for those in-between years.

Clearly you’re advertising for business, of course. But I appreciate that you’re upfront that it may not be a good fit and you’re willing to educate people regardless of that. We’re 51 and (hopefully) about 5 years away from partial retirement and 8 years from full retirement. I’ll be signing up for the Academy in January and hopefully we will be a good fit in a couple years! 🤝🫡
