Haha, the adjustable gas key just doesn’t want to work for me right now 😅
The adjustable gas block really did work very well on my other unit. It’s pretty fun when it works 👍

I rarely, if ever, sit through an entire rifle video. I even more rarely comment on videos.
However, you have good pacing, editing, and a great candid approach.

Put a relia-bolt from sharps in it. It has angles cut into the lugs so while going into battery it will lock up easier

      Now that’s a solid suggestion 🤔👌

@@CalebDowning ya brother enhancing “into battery” without the capability of spring tension kinda hard to do but that bolt is kinda costly buying it might as well get the whole BCG.
Maybe contact Tubb’s springs and give them dimensions have them make you custom flat wire springs for it and have them well over the length so you can cut and “tune” it to your desire. Not sure if they would but it might be cheaper than a whole BCG.
Also fun fact if you want to do the same but in reverse and want an easier unlocking of the bolt get Hydra-Fire USA Roller cam pin.
Don’t quote me on it but I think it is a 30% difference on ease of bolt unlocking.

I finally received mine last week. It only took 33 months. Unfortunately I have not been able to take it to the range yet. I do plan on trying it out in a few different calibers. Before finding it a forever home. 5.56, 7.62x39, 300 blackout, 50 Beowulf.
Speaking with the over the past few months.
    They tell you for
Mid-Length/ Carbine/ Pistol/ Micro/ Suppressed weapons= an adjustable gas block is required. I assume to address cycling issues.

I still need to try it out on 7.62x39, that one has my attention. Let me know how it runs for you.
And yes, an adjustable gas block significantly helps 👌👌

They are a small cali based company with mass production but yeah 400 each and a 2 year wait to even attempt to put it in ur build is crazy but the concept and fact that fire pin and bolt are mil spec standard part interchange and fix is easy but a micro with gas adjustment is almost nonexistent and reliability makes me question my purchase but they will be a unique peice of history and future

This looks very interesting and would open up a lot of possibilities for building/customizing without a bunch of proprietary parts.
However, after I read the comments here (with a lot of people saying 2+ year wait time on it) and with little to no contact either, I've changed my mind. It seems almost no one has one to review (or doesn't post their experience online if they do have one)... So I think I'll save my money for now and wait for this system to "mature"...and shipping times to get a LOT better before I spend $400+ on a bcg.

It did take me two years to get mine and their communications are dismal… but the product itself is pretty cool. Like you said, it opens up many possibilities.

      @CalebDowning  5 місяців тому

I’ve run it a little but not much lately. Primarily I’ve been working on the Foxtrot Mike products and let the EWS sit on the side.
I don’t have an actual round count(shameful I know) but it’s in the 100’s not up to the 1000’s yet. The unit definitely needs some breaking in and significantly benefits from an adjustable gas block.
Should you get one? Well it seems there is only this and the Law Tactical ARIC to choose from, and I would choose this over the ARIC.
I’ll try and get some more content pushed out on this.

Totally understand your perspective. I think a lot of companies are using their customers as guinea pigs. That’s ok if, when the product gets its bugs worked out, the customers can swap out their early gen models for updated models.
