I’ve had mine for 4 years and still love it. Did an intake, exhaust, wheels/tires, bed cover, side steps and tint. It’s perfect….except for the 14mpg 😅
What wheels and tires did you go for? Id love to see it
I did Fuel Heater 20 x9 (+1 offset) with 295/60/20 Toyo Open Country A/T. Tires measure 34” and is the largest I could go with no rub without messing with the stock air suspension. Looks great.
Was that city, highway, or combined?
@@theaspiecoach5934 that’s city. I get about 17-18 highway, so about 16 combined.
How do y’all mpg I get gpm 😕
Mate, the engine sound in the cabin.... what a pleasure!
Right off the bat, I notice the great sound quality of your microphone. Thank you!
I bought a 2015 Rebel new, still have it and I love this truck!
I have a 2022 Rebel, same color, actually looks like your truck. With 27000 miles on the clock ⏰, no issues at all! Love it!
i bought a 2003 dodge ram 1500, im 17, had to get new tires on it as well, i love them though they look quite similar to yours as well. But ever since then Ram and Mopar vehicles have been my favorite. Its got some huge black flames covering the side and matches the black rims and tire which looks awesome.
I have a 2020 rebel with 42k on it. I drive the piss out of it and it’s by far the best truck that I’ve ever had
Nice!
I have the red and black 2019. Love it
I’m good with my ‘19 PW personally. It’s the do everything truck. Can still tow. I don’t mind the off roading. It’s pretty cool. Just don’t need a fast truck that I may or may not take to a dune jump.
Great truck! I have to ask you from one Colorado ram owner to the next, how was the drone? Asking for us who are usually doing 80+ down I 25 and such.
I’m looking for exhaust options for my 2020 ram warlock
Nice review, in the market for a 2023 rebel
Only thing I had to do to my 19 ram rebel I had to recently replace the sway bars links front and rear. So I’m happy with that ha
Have you tried resetting your MPG gauge on the highway with a light foot? Awesome truck BTW. Love Rams.
I won't need too. My 2020 Rebel is going strong 💪. I have a lifetime avg fuel economy of 19.3 mpg and I just rolled past 60k. I love this truck. 🤘
What type of fuel do you use?
"This is my 2020 WAM WEBEW"
That's Wam webel 😅
😂
Wenty wenty wam webew😂
those waskilly wabbits!
😄
You mentioned the 35" tires a few times, but you didn't mention what you did about the spare; it looked like you only got 4 wheels and tires -- do you still have the factory spare? Just make sure that if a tire goes out in the rear that you move one of the front tires to the rear before mounting the spare in the front?
I love my 2016 rebel. The only thing I wish it didn’t have is the air suspension. Other than that. With a Diablo tune and some bolt one, it’s one reliable truck!
I find it interesting how the left post is so prominent in your video. It has been one of the main drawbacks in my mind as I consider getting one of these. Just seems to block so much. Does it help with bright lights at night?
Hi
Nice video and review
I have a question if you don’t mind, I have a 2022 Rebel, so far done around 30,000 miles. A while ago I had an issue and the dealer couldn’t fix it. When idle the engine starts to shake as if it’s going to stall, they couldn’t, according to them, find any electrical or fuel issues and thus no problem as far as they are concerned. Have had or heard of such an issue.
Thoughts on the new Hurricane engines compared to the HEMi? Forced induction will be more beneficial when it comes to the Colorado elevation.
Just bought a brand new 22 rebel. Last on the lot before they bring in 23’s. My first personal truck. Gas mileage hovers around 14 city. Any recommendations on first performance mod? Thinking cold air intake bc it seems the easiest and I can do it myself. Thx
Have you taken it out to the CO overland trails? We are very much interested in it, and plan to use it to tow our trailer on the overland trails during summer months. Just not sure how it will handle the situation specifically.
Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.
I've taken in on several trails, not sure if you're referring to a specific one. Zero problems on the trails so far!
@@Bembli2like engineer or alpine loop? Thank you Rory our reply. Enjoy😊
I have a 2022 rebel. I love your wheel and tire setup. Did you have to do any trimming? If so, what trimming was needed? Is there a way to get away from the trimming still having 35’s with a -18 offset?
I think he didn’t mention is lift setup?
Hey, new to your channel.
Can I ask what wheel and tire setup you’re using? If you don’t mind me asking, can you also please share how much it cost ya
How much did you spend on the truck when you bought it brand new? I’m looking at used 2021 Ram Rebels right now and they range from 40 to 50 thousand dollars
Sweet truck my guy! Looking at buying one myself. Quick question...how does the air ride suspension work with a level kit on this? Do you have the air ride or did you remove it to level it? With 35" tires and just a level do you rub or did you have to cut? Thanks in advance!
Do not buy rough country lever kit get airlinks instead I put the rough country level kit on my air suspension and it completely disabled it and threw error codes.
How do you feel about the 12 in screen and In your opinion is it worth it? Also did you lift the truck or was it just a leveling kit?
I don’t mind the screen since the climate controls still have physical buttons. It’s a leveling kit
Whats overall height of truck or from floor to top of wheel well after 35s
How have you liked your side steps?
How does drive on 35” ? On road. I want to get them but some people say it will drive shitty on road because of the weight and size of the tires
I have 19 rebel, I love it as well, some things feel a little outdated but probably the package I got, it’s the most reliable truck I ever had, coming from a 19 Ranger fx4. I currently have 47k miles
I’ve been looking at a few 19 Rebels recently. I really like the ones with the red interior
@@IAmTheOriginalJello Me as well.
Spend a few bucks and get the larger screen, will feel newer.
@@gpaje the opposite is true. theres a reason youll never see these large screens in a bentley, ferrari, pagani, mclaren etc etc. nothing dates a car faster than its tech and screens
@omardevonlittle3817 that's different, when done in an elegant way, sure, but in a Ram, the little screens look dated.
I remember back before covid ram rebels are selling so cheap compared to their prices now even used ones with 60k miles are move expensive than their prices back then its just ridiculous
How much are they going for
Kumho AT 51s are good as well for a budget off road tire.
how come u dont do ur own oil change?
Put some silicone os the springs so you stop the noise
Dream car
I have the same truck on white . I want to put 35s on mine too but I’m not sure how the truck will ride with them. Did you feel any difference in the quality of street riding? I’m sure off-road it’s amazing but how it feels in the everyday driving around town
How's the reliability on your ram rebel? 😬
Man the last thing I would do is install that aftermarket air filter. That thing is air reduction city my man. Looks cool but that’s about it
Question: does the rebel come with lockers either in the back or both in the front and back axles. Truck looks and sounds very nice.
rear axle locker I believe
I have a 2020 and it has lockers in the rear
I have a '22 Rebel. Rear locker only. This truck is fantastic! Goes anywhere!
Welcome to CO, I know what road you were driving.
Get some breakfast at The Wildflower!
I have a 2023 rebel . I have 1 complaints, in Chryslers infinite wisdom they removed a class 4 receiver. Absolutely stupid. I get 16-17 mpg . With my wheel setup.
I found an MBRP and an RC cat back exhaust system for $700-900. I’m trying to save as much money as possible
PBD @ 4:58 👍
Haha I listen to PBD podcast too 👍🏼
What wheels and tires are those
Is that the Poudre?
Any thoughts on the air suspension?
Rece Early.......................I have a 2020 RAM REBEL with the air suspension, and I love it! Very comfortable and quiet truck!
Curious I bought a 2024 yesterday....has the cluck... it's the 2500 with 47 miles on it😂
my question would be do you think the Rebel is really worth it over say an optioned out Big Horn or even Laramie? Like does the Rebel really offer more than those other trims...
I couldn’t get the blue option in Laramie without chrome bumpers and grill. The night option has only a few colors offered for body matched paint. $4000 more for my rebel vs almost identical build Laramie. I wanted the hydro blue on black
I really want to own either rebel or TRX and sit beside my Toyota and Nissan
my Rebel sits beside my Tundra 1st gen. they compliment each other.
Trx is a league of its own… if you can afford it do it! 😂 prolly my dream truck.
What’s up with the cabin shaking at 65-80 mph ? Anyone got a fix for this? Seen a lot of rebel owners trying to figure this out
W Bennett.............................I have never heard of that, and I own a 2020 RAM REBEL with air suspension ,and lots of accessories, including ADAptIVE CRUISE .
Would you buy a 2019 Rebel V6 Etorque or a 2017 Big Horn V8?!
No
For the life of me, I don't know why anyone would want a Rebel with a six-banger! HEMI all the way!
Crazy how this guy hasnt responded to a single question 😂
Why does Ram do that with the Rebel with the different tire pressure ? Front 55 psi rear 45 psi.
I know 55 it’s crazy high. I have mine in 40 front and 38 rear still high. But 55? It’s stupid for a day to day driving. I understand towing and things like that but all the time
Can you cook hot dogs with it ?
All I need to know bout this truck… 👍🏿👍🏿💯💯 #imgettingit
What year is your rebel?
He literally says it in the first 20 seconds.
It’s Wenty Wenty
Im hunting for a wam webel😅
Hi. Are you interested in interior car accessories?😊
Sucks these now are a fortune, won’t negotiate and no dealer incentives. Most I have looked at are near 70k.
It’s freaking nuts. I paid 52 for mine 4 years ago and the exact same spec today is 71. Great truck, but when you’re talking 70+, a lot of nice vehicles enter the conversation.
@@McGnarly76 All those other vehicles also took a hike.
Just pulled the trigger for a build and am at 64k. Won’t be here until June so if better rebates kick in, they’ll apply. Maybe FCA will have a fix for my HPFP on the ecodiesel and they’ll give me more than 9000 on trade in then.
Toyota TRD. Cost less and you get more included options that the Ram charges more for. Plus it’s better off road. Much much better
And get a infotainment system that’s made by a 4 year old.
As a happy Ram owner, I can say Toyotas have a junky interior compared to Rebels.
Is this a human or AI bot? Doesn't sound human.
Rather than the Rebel, you are better off getting the Big Horn or a different model.
Trump 2024.
nope
