I think maybe they should mention at least the fact that Jimin came to the company very late and only trained like 6 months before debut that's why he was always on the brink of being cut on the team. Usually people needs at least a year of training if not longer before debut even if you have natural talent...

That is not quiet right.
Jimin joined in spring/late spring 2012. At the end of 2012 - 6 months later - it was decided if he would debut with the group.
BTS debuted officially on 12th/13th of June 2013.
Because of the short training period - and trouble with vocal lessons - it was a risk to debut him.
(I think he sat in on Taehyung's and JK's vocal lessons - but lacked in his own because of timing - school, dance training, group training, homework, individual vocal lessons of the other members - and money - the label had a debt of ca. 1 Billion Korean Won aka. ca. 75 Million USD when they debuted the group - so they only had one vocal coach - only ca. 10 people in the company without the trainees/other artists)
