Floating Wetlands at Glasgow Science Centre

Glasgow Science Centre is continuing to improve our outdoor spaces with the addition of three floating wetlands in the Canting Basin to enhance biodiversity, showcase environmental sustainability, and encourage community conversations around the future vision of the Clyde. 
The wetlands span 200m², have over 2,000 native plants and trees, and feature nesting platforms to provide a new habitat for wildlife to thrive.
You can get a great view from the decking area behind the IMAX to investigate the islands without disturbing the wildlife. We would love for you to visit and share with us any wildlife that you see!
