Thanks for watching Richard!
Charlie, I hear two opposite facts: 1) Record amount of cash is on the sidelines, and 2) Investors Getting Greedy / Large Cap growth going up daily. How can both be true? Cash on the sidelines is cautious, not greedy. This tells me when the cash dam breaks we will see a flood of money entering the market. That's when I get cautious. What am I missing? Great show!
Thanks Cliff, glad you asked this question. The notion of "cash on the sidelines" is a complete myth. Collectively, there is no "sidelines." You may individually sell your stock and move to cash but for every seller of stock there is a buyer, and net net there is no change. Many use this concept as a reason to be extra bullish on the market but they never address the fact that if those holding cash buy into the market someone is selling those shares to them and moving to cash.
Fantastic insight, thank you
Thanks for watching!
