i believe there's two sets of people: those who understand the aesthetic, the intuitive, the "natural". the others understand the abstract, the rational, the logical. everyone in the second group needs this kind of video because we just cannot fathom how to spontaneously move our body to music... because there's no logical reason behind it. "yes i know you're moving your arms like that... but WHY? why does THAT movement look natural but another one looks wrong?" we can't understand it so we look for rules and systems for how to dance xD
not gonna lie, I thought this was going to be dumb. then i heard, I'm your living room dance teacher. RENATA BLISS lol, that's a sub for you sir. Good information too.
Some longer limbed dancers have said they have trouble with moving faster, so don't be shy to move more slowly. Also, don't give up and keep experimenting! You can find a dance that best suits you or you could tweak moves. Practicing in a mirror and record your moves if you like.
Thank you for making this. I was at a concert just last night and was way too self-conscious about my arms/hands and unsure what to do with them.
:)
Literally me last night, guess this info is more crucial than people realize
