It's easy to be a Chiefs or Eagles fan now, it's been easy to be a Patriots fan the last 20 years, but the Browns or Lions season-ticketholder is the truest fan in the League.

I think most reasonable people understand it. Aside from the weirdos that instantly switched to defending him, basically nobody would be happy about getting a player that causes their team to be probably the most hated by other fan bases. Nobody wants that but we get no control over it.

I mean, they won a playoff game sans coaches. Then the coaches botch the next playoff game ... running out the clock and then punting their last possession WHILE DOWN. And the owners reaction is that the only thing working is the coaches.

Despite Cleveland’s difficulties in the regular season and post season, he was always rooting for his team and most importantly always there for the fans.
As a Bills fan and Lake Erie bro, I am terribly saddened to say that I can no longer root for the Browns.

Unfortunately, there were a lot of very vocal Browns fans who supported trading for Watson. And they expressed support in very disgusting ways. That really tarnished my view of Cleveland, which is a city I actually like.
What is there to like about Cleveland? Literally the most famous thing about the city is their river kept catching on fire. The second most famous thing is that the population likes to claim a river catching on fire isn't that bad.
Baker wasn't very good and his attitude was worse. The organization quickly realized that there was no path forward with him.

As a former browns fan the beginning of this video was spot on. And my first year since 98 not rooting fir a team in the NFL was a weird experience and honestly better than being a browns fan ever was for me.

Tom I rewatched this today. Been a Browns fan since the 60s. You are masterful in showing how fans think ownership and administration is the bane of our existence. I am so fed up now that Joe Thomas and Josh Cribbs are the only reasons I don't just put a banner over my memorabilia saying Cleveland Browns 1946-1996 accept no later imposters. My team died when they left CLE in 96 and the efforts since coming back have been painful for the fan base.

It is honestly spooky how freaking accurate you are Tom. The Watson trade literally covered every emotion I went through this offseason. Hopefully the Browns won’t be the Browns next season 😂

As a browns fan…. This was perfect…. Every bit of it.
It’s amazing how in touch with other fanbases he is… if you just paid attention to the national media you would think that browns fans were happy with the Watson deal and wanted baker gone when it is in fact the exact opposite. Now the moves have been made and we have accepted them, so we are ready to “get behind” Watson… but I’m still not convinced he will ever be the quarterback he was in Houston and the one we thought we traded for…. But that’s just the browns fan in me who is used to nothing working out in our favor.
Was I supposed to like Baker?oops. I told my dad at the start of 2021 season, I think he's gone after this and low and behold I was right, you don't get 1 winning season in 4 years and stick around
@@slaughterman44 of course some people didn’t want or like baker…. It’s inevitable… you were the minority though. He took a 1-31 team and made them respectable. I’m glad you expected more…. Keep that same energy with deshaun. Because last year without baker the browns regressed. And deshaun looked like an xfl player the last six games of the season.
@@HomeDefender30 last time I checked Baker didn't control our defense while he was or wasn't here. The defense sucked that's be corrected by new additions and coaches. The offense has new players too. Also there are a lot more variables with Watson last year than just rust, yes the 2 years off definitely did a lot but he was going in week 1 or week -105 basically against defenses that are week 13+ that have found the rhythm, and while the stats are bad the film isn't, you can visually see the improvement game to game. Add in the fact the offense wasn't use to a mobile QB bc Baker and Brissett weren't scrambler types, here and there they'd roll out but mostly if they did they'd take off, you can see the OL and WRs not really know what to do bc they haven't practiced these scenarios and drills
@@slaughterman44 all valid points… but at the end of the day results matter. Watson does NOT get a pass this season. Baker was able to take us to the playoffs and win a game…. I expect an appearance in the afc championship game this year and nothing less. Watson is supposed to be the upgrade that takes us to the promised land, so he better make a run this year. If he doesn’t stefanski will be let go, and then it’s time for another rebuild.

1) The AFC North will have more playoff teams (3) than the AFC East (2).
2) The Lions and Browns will both make the playoffs.
