Gran Turismo 7 (commonly abbreviated as GT7) is an upcoming racing video game being developed by Polyphony Digital and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It will be the eighth major release, the fourteenth game overall in the Gran Turismo video game series, the second game to be released on the PlayStation 4 and the first on PlayStation 5.[1] The game's release date has been revealed to be on the 4th of March, 2022, on both consoles.
On the PlayStation 5, the developers claimed that it will utilize features such as ray-tracing, 3D audio, fast loading times from the console's SSD and haptic feedback. It will also implement features from the past, present and future of the series.
In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu (and translated by Polygon.com) in September 2013, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi mentioned that GT7 would be coming to the PlayStation 4 console "in a year or two". He also mentioned that it will be based on the same physics engine that Gran Turismo 6 uses.[2]
In an interview with GamesTM magazine in October of the same year, Yamauchi semi-confirmed a release for Gran Turismo 7" sometime in 2015 or 2016". He also spoke about how much more powerful the game will be on the PS4 and how much easier it is to develop on the new console versus the previous release, Gran Turismo 6, on the PlayStation 3.[3] The target release year was not met, however.
In 2016, a mention of GT7 was spotted in Nissan Motor Philippines' website for the 2016 GT Academy Philippines competition held between July 1 to August 31, 2016. Due to the timing, it is very likely the live event pods were actually using a pre-release version of GT Sport.[4] (Coincidentally, GT Sport is internally codenamed as "GT7SP").
In a 2018 interview with Japanese game news site Game Watch, Kazunori Yamauchi stated that since the release of Gran Turismo Sport, Polyphony Digital have begun working on the next Gran Turismo game.[5][6] This may suggest that GT7 did indeed start development on PlayStation 4 (there are rumors that developers began receiving then-upcoming PlayStation 5 developer kits as early as March 2017, but the developer kits were not reported to the public press until late 2019).
Announcement
On June 11, 2020, on the day of PlayStation 5 launch stream, an announcement trailer was released showing off GT7, showing us that GT7 will return to its roots rather than follow GT Sport's approach, This has been the only mention of GT7 Since an interview with Kazunori Yamauchi in 2013.
It was confirmed by PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan that GT7 would be delayed to 2022, citing development issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On June 2, 2021, a blog post was released which hinted that the game may also arrive on PlayStation 4.[7] This was later confirmed on the trailer released during the 2021 PlayStation Showcase stream

I think most of the demonstration ghost is a cheater... Many times where they are flying with full throttle our car just spins out even with TCS on. We have to drive totally different to achieve golds...

It took me 178km with Controller and i did 0.58.298 I Don‘t know how good this is with Controller but the demonstration is with cheats i think

Dude, I literally was at it for 1 1/2 hours, I swear to god, whoever patched this time, I wanna slap the sonic rings out of them because they obviously didn’t test their own times or are catering to wheels which is bs. Gt sport tests were easier and they were also hell but Atleast not this f*cking garbage ass repetitive frustrating ass track.

Jeez im no where close after hundreds of tries. Its like the TC is extremely inconsistent lately.
Honestly I have Fanatec CSL DD with McLaren GT3 wheel setup on a GT omega prime rig with Trak racer side mounts for the csl dd. Solid doesn’t budge but can I beat this on wheel or controller nope closest I have got is 58.364 just can’t get consistently close times. I don’t see why they changed most of the license times. I have gold on all licences apart from this one special licence. I also tried on automatic and manual and just cannot get it super frustrating
This is nearly impossible on a controller. I say nearly because I’ve come .1 off a couple of times. But you honestly have to be psychotic to put yourself through this. There’s no real achievement other than getting a gold trophy and really it’s not worth it for me anymore. I mean I’m only at S3 lmfao and it takes well over 200 attempts to get it and that’s being generous. It just seems so random, like even if I do the exact same thing I did on a previous runs I’ll lose time some how… also tried playing with so many different setting combinations including yours and still there is zero consistency. I’m not sure if you’re using a wheel or not but I’m assuming wheel must be what these challenges are designed for.
I don’t use a wheel mate, always use a controller. It’s difficult for sure, but it is do-able. If I can do it I’m 100% sure that you can too! Try studying my slow mo, see what speeds I’m doing, braking points, what gears and speeds I’m doing through the corners etc, you’ve just got to be confident with the car and your braking points, maybe try moving onto another license and come back to this, or try having breaks from it, all these things help 😉👍🏻

When I try to break and turn at the first corner the car won’t do it.
Have you checked your setup and compared it to mine?
@@SkullBusters yes, it seems I have to break slightly earlier to get around, my ghost also seems to hump at the corner which starts the long fast curve to the left before the last hairpin which leads to the long straight. I have managed to get to 58.8 now so I guess it will just take practice, some of these tracks are so awkward and the off track decisions make no sense sometimes you can skim corners by a fair amount and other times a Whicker and you fail very inconsistent which is a shame as it ruins a great game.
Try study my slow mo, copy my racing line, braking points, speeds I’m doing through corners etc, hopefully that will help you improve your time 👍🏻

@@SkullBusters no, I can't do it, I put traction on 2 because otherwise the car turns around on a bend and I put it on 0 after the penultimate bend before the straight but the ghost of the demonstration takes up too much margin on the straight.

Study my slow mo’s copy how I did it, use my braking points etc but don’t over brake because you’ll lose time
Over braking is touching the brake more than you should, so you’ll lose time. Study my lap and see when my braking point is and what gear I’m in going through each corner also what speed I’m doing through the corner too!
Look at your sector times and your overall times, find where you are losing time and improve (try something different)
It seems different now in 1.36. Need to brake earlier. Anyone encountering the same?

In the race settings, press left or right on the direction buttons in the race and it’ll cycle through the different settings, then use up and down to move it to position you want.

It depends if they offer it, but normally you can. Keep pressing left or right on the directional button on the pad, press up and down to change the balance 👍🏻
