I have the Hexing CIU 2023 and i don't have electricity i did go to my neighbor to put it in a socket but still when I'm entering the electricity it shows failed what can i do?please assist, i even bought new batteries
This is how to troubleshoot: First, make sure the MCU is ON, In the Consumer Unit all MCB circuit breakers including the Double pole isolator must be ON. The CIU batteries Must be in good condition, inside your house plug in your CIU in the power Socket outlet and Switch it ON. You can load your token without hustle or stains. To troubleshoot is the same, use your neighbour's Power outlet if your house doesn't have power. Make sure your MCU is on in the meter box. If the problem persist you can use the MCB double pole in the utility meter box that has been wired with your MCU. For assistance contact us

Hello Nicolars, I suggest you hire a qualified Electrician with an excellent reputation to check your wiring and load to advise you accordingly.
What if it just says connect then failed for both update codes and putting in token?

Input 095 then press Okay, if the CIU display 08 your meter is in tamper mode. Visit your nearest KPLC office for clear tamper token code.
