Pippa's ability to share her story is so moving & so brave. I felt so much for her whilst she spoke & you realise how much this movie meant to her, by getting it right by her son Axel
Congratulations British Vogue for making a video that is so necessary! Baby loss and miscarriage are still underestimated on feminine world and I’m happy that you showed a vulnerable and real conversation about the unpleasant sides of maternity
This is absolutely breathtaking, both of them are amazing, their way of talking is so mature and talking about this, which is difficult,in a mature way is incredible.
I have no plans to have children but I am a friend to other women, and I know this conversation will make me a better friend to them if they should experience this. You’ve given me a gift and hopefully the grace needed to support them.
Sending immense love to Pippa. This interview was beautiful, yet incredibly heartbreaking. Thoughts, love and prayers for all women and all parents who go through such a terrible loss. There is nothing that could ever fill such void and I can only hope that your unborn angels are in a better place.
In my experience, women are not encouraged to listen to their intuition. Pippa, I'm sorry for what you went through, your strength shines through. ❤️❤️❤️
Wow. I mean, this interview has been profoundly heartbreaking. Thank you very much. While I was watching Pieces of a woman for the first time i was able to feel so clearly Martha's point of view (I don't know how, because I'm not a mother) I could feel what's she was living like it was happening in my bones. After that I realized offhand "Hey, Vanessa Kirby, you are my favourite actress now" It was so touching and intense, thank you very much.
I don't know how Vanessa held it together while Pippa spoke about that incredibly sorrowful loss of her baby in the beginning. I was crying watching it.
This was amazing. Thank you Pippa for sharing your story, your grief and your love for Axl. I've never ever seen/hearded an interview like this and so happy I clicked on it. I cried while you were telling your experience. And love love Vanessa. You are the real deal, amazingly talented, grounded, funny, everything!
One of the most elegantly sexy and talented actresses of her generation. What i want to advice her is not to be afraid to try to work in more movies. Go Vanessa and good luck!
This interview highlights that we often listen acutely to the words of celebrities and actors, but I found Pippa’s authentic story so captivating and heart-wrenching. We glorify actresses who play these parts (granted, Vanessa did an incredible job in this role). If Vanessa didn’t offer Pippa the chance to tell her story, would she just have interviewed?
Thank you British Vogue for featuring this topic on your platform. Loss of baby life (be it in utero or beyond) is far too much of a taboo subject, how good to see a bit of space being carved out for it here. Some critiques: I wish you'd chosen another conversation partner for Pippa Vosper. Perhaps another woman who has had the experience or works with families that have to navigate it, etc. I didn't find it interesting or sensitive to shine a spotlight on an actress and her parcours researching for a role. And I found the abrupt edit of delving right back into the actress recounting her prep work for the film immediately following Pippa's account jolting. Sending love to all of you that have experienced baby loss.
oh my...what a beautiful tribute to Baby Axel....and you 2 Sweethearts moved me deeply especially Pippa. I'm a Birth Doula and have professionally supported females thru this process of enormous loss & grief...yes, the self-forgiveness part is huge and EMDR with a trained therapist really can help...after all it's a huge trauma. Blessings to all, I'm planning to share this interview with my birthing (professional) community! BRAVA DIVAS...very courageous!
Listening to Pippa's story is hard already, I can't imagine going through it. I am truly sorry for what you went through and thank you so much for sharing your story
I found no this movie so intriguing, so mesmerizing, so captivating...The acting and storyline were both so raw and authentic that accolades and gratitude MUST be given and shared for all that they evoked from, and demanded of, its audience. 👌👏
This is so beautiful. I love how open and honest this conversation was. Both of these women are so remarkable, I felt like I was watching two friends converse over tea.❤️
Why am i always interested in listen to all her interview every detail. Amazing ! You are the first person in my life I would like to curious to know you and by the way what a genuinely conversation.
im so confused re: discussion of what call an unborn child, when the discussion turns to abortion rights, its not a baby, and when the pregnancy is wanted its a baby. Is this a double standard that women have?
