If i ever doubted this love, when Kem said she would likely not record the their reunion because she just wanted to take the moment in with Alex - I knew then for sure that this love is for real. PS - Alex is definitely more comfortable behind the camera.

I am Trinidadian, I want to say this WITH THE GREATEST RESPECT to uncle, my mom who is 86, made, bush medicine, she taught me , the most potent antidote for snakes, scorpians and centepede, is to ketch them LIVE and put them in the rum with other things. As the creatures die/drown,they
expelled the poison, into the rum concuction. That is what we drank. Sh had a medicine cabinet with all sorts of antidotes. May I also say, we grew up in the bush, with, all these creatures. We are still alive, and so is my mom. Much love to all Jamaicans. MUCH LOVE TO THE YOUNG COUPLE.

How about two years apart since last meeting? Thats how much time has passed since me and my boyfriend met last time. We have been in a long distance relationship for over 6 years. Close to beat world's record I guess in term of longest lasting LDR.

Yesssssssssss I finally got to watch the video. Words can't even express how happy I was when I saw her IG story a few days ago. I had to jump in her inbox and screamed. I even got a shout-out from her and Alex aweeeeeeee ! I'm happy it wasn't a bigger hiccup that you encountered at the Border Kem. God is good all the time and all the time God is good! @@peace3087 True. We experience colourism in Jamaica but, if you travel and have sense you will see and smell the psychosis that is racism. It's everywhere. I know this and I have noooo time for them.
@@Alpha8497 Both Colorism and Racism are psychosis. In Jamaica, a lot of black people bleach their skin. Some experts consider that , a mental condition. In Jamaica and some other Caribbean countries, black tourists are treated differently than white tourists inside certain resorts. Even though, we all paid the same price to be there. I have dark skin and I have been discriminated against by both Blacks and Whites.
Let me tell you...it hurts a lot more to not be accepted by my own race in a "black country".
you know, I agree yes and no. Immigration officers are told to "flag" couples of different backgrounds (per my immigration lawyer) unfortunately. This can come off a bit racist, but it is indeed the system. That is how tight they are on letting people into their country. They won't flag you if you come from the same background. It is stupid because there are so many interracial couples in the world. This world definitely needs healing.
I think it has to do more with her being from a developing country. The same would happen if the woman was a light skin latina. There’s a UA-cam couple (she’s Mexican and he’s German) and they had to go through the same immigration process, well she did, when going to Germany. She had to provide ALL of the evidence that they were in a relationship (photos, social media, etc.), which is insane LOL. But oh well, that’s how the first world works, I guess.
@@peace3087 yeah, I am not saying that racism does not affect other people and that it is not horrible. I am just saying that maybe maybe this is not about race, but about the place where you come from. All of the comments are saying that they asked her for papers and evidence just because she was black, when this is not completely true.
They asked her for all of those things because she's coming from a developing country and trying to enter a first world country. I have experienced things like this before with immigration officers as a Colombian person (mind you, on top of the developing country stigma, we have the awful stigma of the drug cartels). And it does not have to do anything with my race, as I am sure a white Colombian (with only a Colombian passport) will have to endure the same awful immigration process.

Immigration officers can be difficult. You are right Alex, they have the upper hand you just have to be polite. Some of the officers can be extra.

New to your channel, did Alex live in Jamaica with you for a while? I miss Jamaica too Alex you aren't alone lol..also so sorry you had to deal with that in Sweden, I know working in the airline industry during this time around due to covid we are forced to ask all information of non family members visiting their significant other anywhere in Europe. Unfortunately I have denied many passengers for not having the right documents. However 3 hours is a bit much to have you waiting and I am sure it took longer because you are a woman of color, but don't feel singled out we have had people from all races deported back to the US for not having enough proof once entering Europe especially Paris. I hope things become easier for you both. Love your channel and both of your energy.
