Hey there! If you're using the proper brush such as our Great Lengths brush, which was made to brush through the bonds, you should be able to start at the scalp. Any boar bristle brush should work, but our dual-length bristles help detangle safely and was forumulated for extensions!

Hello, thanks for your question! Yes, if you go to a stylist who is properly trained in our keratin bonded method, which is the safest for the natural hair, you will not experience damage to your own hair. You also would need to make sure you are taking proper care of your extensions at home, of course- with consistent brushing as pictured above- and salon-professional products.
One of the reasons the Great Lengths keratin bond is safer than other "keratin" bonds is because we use 100% keratin and do not mix with plastic or glue. The Great Lengths patented keratin is the safest for the natural hair because it's an exact replica of the hair’s natural keratin. That being said, it responds to heat, water, etc the same way the natural hair does. The bond expands/ contracts the same as the natural hair-this ensures a damage-free application. Many clients with damaged hair use our extensions to help protect their natural hair during their grow out/ hair restoration phase. Is it normal for some of them to hurt for a few days after being put it? Just wondering if it was the lady that put them in or just my head being tender. Thanks.

Hey there! It is totally normal for some clients to experience a little tenderness after an application, especially if it’s your first time wearing extensions. After a few days this should subside. However, if you continue to experience any discomfort, please reach out to your stylist!

Jeez that looks like a lot of work. I'd just get a weft with no glue

Two or three times a day is WAY too much!!! Do nothing thats even close to pulling your hair. And you also just unnecessarily spread the grease all over the entire hair.
Sure, keep the hair from having knots but brushing extensions, or even natural hair 3 times a day is way too much

We say it's best to brush two to three times to make sure the bonds are remaining seperated and untangled. Brushing multiple times a day is crucial in maintaining the health of your bonds and natural hair.
