Aiden Chiles, a barely 19 year old first string QB on a Big 10 (18) university. He can hold his head up high because he has talent and is being schooled by experience. All young QBs go through these early developmental stages. He is positive in attitude and recognizes self-accountability and KNOWS he has allot to learn to improve and mature his God-given talent. One thing he does extremely well that will set him above other QBs. What’s that? He is amazing nimble in the backfield while under pressure and can extend plays. He doesn’t simply fall on the ball. He WILL improve and I’m sure he is working on it, as the coaching staff, everyday. Go Spartans! Go Aiden! Never give up - never surrender!
Aidan has enormous talent and competitiveness. I am so happy he is here at MSU. The sky is the limit with his potential and as he perfects his craft it will be so fun to watch his progression. With his tools, he can grow into the best MSU QB in my lifetime. Respect for Aidan to admit he cried with his teammates in the locker room after the loss to Boston College. That takes a lot of self-confidence to admit. Keep your chin up and keep competing and don't listen to any of those negative folks outside of the locker room.
On pace for a 33 TD 30 INT season like Jameis Winston when he was on the Bucs (If you include Aidan's rushing TD's). I'd rather have that and every game be exciting than the latter. This is a rebuild year anyway. We'll be fine.
Wow this team had some solid potential, would love to work with the offense improving their scheme and QB play. Worked with Coach Izzo this summer at his camp and would love to extend the help.
Gotta hope smith can hold onto him. Some agent is likely to come along and tell him he can get more money and improve his draft status at another school.
Someone has to say it. Chiles is still the best option for MSU going forward. HOWEVER, his reckless and ill-advised throws are costing games that should’ve never been close or even losing to BC. He could’ve had more INTs had BC secondary not dropped the easy pics. His reckless plays really reflect his postgame interviews. That’s NOT CONFIDENCE. That’s reckless behavior w/toxic words. No surprise why the coach the QB was not allowed to speak from the last postgame interview. And yes, that’s exactly how an 18 yr old talks w/no accountability.
@@johnnyV2194, he will be more than fine. Think of what he’ll be in another two years with the good coaching he will be receiving. MSU has the quarterback for now and in the future. Enjoy as he progresses.
@@fpanadero2626 what do the lions have to do with your reactionary demands of a teenage qb at a school I doubt you attended? And for the record, I have no affiliation with the lions beyond their football field being located in a city whose state is the one I live in. I have fun with the lions, but I really don’t care how they play
I'm sure I'll get hammered for this but I don't care: I have no doubt that Chiles will eventually get there but we should not have lost vs. BC. MSU was clearly the better team but once again the mistakes killed us. It's time to play the #2 QB from North Dakota State because at least he can manage a game, limit the mistakes and not turn the ball over 9x/game ffs. Chiles needs more time to grow up, learn the system and see the field WAY better than he currently is/can.
Michigan state football is interesting. They aren’t in the same weight class with Michigan and Ohio state (football wise) but msu is the same kind of school as osu. Fb won’t ever surpass basketball at msu. This will be interesting.
Football has and always will be bigger than basketball at msu. And they were better than michigan for about 10 years while beating osu multiple times those same years.
It’s gonna click. This is the beginning of something great. You learn most from adversity. We need to be patient as fans and let this thing grow.
Absolutely 💯

Getting paid a million dollars

Ever game is a learning experience. Hopefully we can eek out 3 more wins, get to a bowl game and be poised next year to do much more.
What a dude! He will be great!
Lots of pressure for a young player, hopefully he can concentrate on his classes. I know he has a lot on his plate.
Better toughen up... he's making a million!

How did you get those numbers?
luv chiles - no matter what
I feel bad for the defense that has to deal with that moment he realizes he’s got full control of the game.
He WILL figure it all out and be the best QB in the nation. Soon! Spartan Nation has your back Aidan!
Wow this team had some solid potential, would love to work with the offense improving their scheme and QB play. Worked with Coach Izzo this summer at his camp and would love to extend the help.
Go Green! Go White! Go defense! Go Offense! Go Special teams! Go AIDEN CHILES!!!!!

he makes like 2 mil and smith recruited him originally. no shot he leaves.
What Mattyo said
Lol who is coming after a turnover prone qb w sub 50% completion percentage?
tell me you dont follow the team without just outright saying it lmao. do some research before you post

Stop throwing interceptions!!!
wow i bet he never thought of that one. thankfully spartymark came through with ground breaking insight
Terrible audio quality and who tf is talking in the background!?
recorded on phone speakers for regular media sessions and other players interview at the same time at a podium on the side
It’s very questionable this kid helped throw this game lmao
Get him some better MSU gear. That T-Shirt didn't fit him well.
How much patience and development is appropriate when a player is paid millions?
He isn't making millions
are you paying it yourself? is it your money? the kid still goes to class even if is name and image is valuable. get off the high horse loser
What are you smoking lmfao? Kid makes no where near that
He can’t average 3 ints and expect to keep winning.. tighten up
He’s got some growing and learning to do. He will.
thanks mr. obvious.

7 ints in 4 games isn't averaging 3 a game..
Help him process the loss? JFC stop turning the ball over. Pretty simple.
We should appoint you as QB of the team
