Cute mason jars!! I’d use felt or leather instead of cardstock though. After time, or a quick jerk of a Kleenex, the paper will tear. Especially w/kids pulling them out. Tfs.
There are several ways to finish off the jars with cute writing or decorations. I use vinyl decals that I make with my Cricut machine. You can purchase them from my Etsy shop (www.etsy.com/shop.crystalscrafties ). You can purchase vinyl decals from any craft store. You can also buy paint markers and draw anything on you want on the jars.
Oh I'm sure that Cricut Maker can cut anything! I'm not sure I would go that rout though because the hard metal will rip the tissues. I "think" my circle was 2" but I'm not exactly sure.
All mason jars come with 2 types of lids. Use the inner lid to make a circle template. That’s the easiest way to measure the exact circle size you need.
As someone else suggested, instead of cardstock, use leather or felt as a tissue dispenser barrier, it is more durable so you could use a wide mouth jar I think.
Hi... Love these, do the acrylic glaze come in a brush on type of jar as i live in a apartment building and have no yard to spray them.. Unless I take it to the park across the way and spray them there ..lol
I'd love to but that link is dead now. Here's what I'm using now. This is an affiliate link and if you purchase from this link I may receive a commission. amzn.to/2qQUzHw
Hi Sheryl! I'm not exactly sure how you'd order on eBay but you could just search "Bless You Decal" or "Mason Jar Decals" and I'm sure you'll get a lot of results. I sell mine on Etsy. I don't have those exact ones for sale in my shop but I could make them for you. Here's a link to my shop. www.etsy.com/shop/crystalscrafties
Crystal's Crafties I saw the designs on your Etsy site but they are digital downloads? I have no idea how to do that. Can you make them and sell them to me?
I also offer the actual decal in the "decals" section of my shop. Here's an actual listing you can click on. If you're wanting a custom one just like in the youtube video just click the link below and then send me a message through Etsy. That way I can keep it all straight lol! www.etsy.com/CrystalsCrafties/listing/723598785/bless-you-decal-mason-jar-decal-bless?Copy&ListingManager&Share&.lmsm&share_time=1579633096121
You can buy light card stock at pretty much any craft store. They sell it in individual sheets. Sometime it's called decorative paper. It' should be with all the other card stock.
I make these for my business, but I use laminated card stock for the tops. Works better & won’t rip or tear. Never had any issues.
Love it love all your jars
You did a phenomenal job also your tutorial was very detailed and you're very patient truly appreciate this video.....👍👍👍
Cute mason jars!! I’d use felt or leather instead of cardstock though. After time, or a quick jerk of a Kleenex, the paper will tear. Especially w/kids pulling them out. Tfs.
I love the thought of using leather. Thanks!
These are so cute!! Love them!!! I really like your tutorial also!
Awesome tutorial! TFS!
Love these!!! TFS 💜
Very niiiice , but you need to start with the rim first then flip it down and continue, it is easier
Instead of cardstock you could use the clear plastic that comes with the tissue.
Wonder if you could cut the actual lid that way you wouldn't have to worry about the card stock ripping
Can you put a link to paper you use please? Thank you
Thank you for the tutorial, what size did you cut your circle please, I have a cricut and I would like to do this, thanks in advance
Hi Astrid. I have them sized at 2.7inch. Sorry for the late response.
That's ok, thank you very much 😊
Great job ... but honestly i didn't understand the last part concerning the writing on the jar and i'm so interested to know about it

www.etsy.com/shop/CrystalsCrafties?ref=search_shop_redirect. is the correct link
Love these! Question what is the size of the circle you cut with your machine. I wonder if the cricut maker can cut the x in the original lid?

@@CrystalsCrafties yes, you are right about the roughness.....these are too cute! Love this tfs
what font did you use for tissue for your issue
Your jars are soooo cute! Enjoyed your video. What font did you use? Thank you for sharing.
Thanks!! The font is called "I Found My Valentine" and I got it from Dafont.com
Has anyone used epoxy instead of the spray on glaze? I have the liquid epoxy but no glaze
Great tutorial !
Thanks Neva! =)
I have a Cricut as well, how did you know what size to put in DS so it would cut the correct size for the lid? Thanks.

What type of paper did you use for the decal before you used the transfer taper?
I use Oracal 651 adhesive vinyl
Can I use my wide mouth mason jars for this? thank you
Wide mouth jars don't work as well. You can use them but the tissues will need a stronger support holding them in place.
As someone else suggested, instead of cardstock, use leather or felt as a tissue dispenser barrier, it is more durable so you could use a wide mouth jar I think.
These are cute... Was going to try it, but those Kleenex are so expensive! I'll have to figure something else out.
I agree, too expensive for a craft fair item. Please share the brand of tissues you used.

You could use mod-podge. It will work the same.
What type of mode pod get do you recommend? I just some tonight for another project. How long should this dry before applying decal?
First time watching
could you post the link to the Kleenex you got, the knock off?
I'd love to but that link is dead now. Here's what I'm using now. This is an affiliate link and if you purchase from this link I may receive a commission.

Hi Crystal, New subscriber here. Can I ask how I would order these sayings on eBay? I don’t have a cricut yet.

Will this project work with regular mouth mason jars?
Yes, I use regular mouth jars. It actually wont work with wide mouth.
Crystal's Crafties Why wouldn’t it work with wide mouth jars?
@@CrystalsCrafties Why won't a wide mouth mason jar work for this? Thanks
@@MrsVonB-zq1yh I'm wondering the same thing. I have Wide mouth jars I was going to use
Awesome job!!! Do u need the apply any coating over the decal? Can you use mod podge to seal it?
I don't suggest putting any sealer on it when you're done. The spray on sealer you put on the jars before the decal should be enough.
Where did you find "light " card stock
You can buy light card stock at pretty much any craft store. They sell it in individual sheets. Sometime it's called decorative paper. It' should be with all the other card stock.
So cute omg Thank u for sharing😍😍
How do you make the decals?
I use a Cricut paper cutting machine
What brand of paint did you use ???
I use the Waverly Chalk Paint from Walmart.
What kind of paper is your decal?
It's adhesive vinyl. I usually use Oracal 651 adhesive vinyl.
Crystal's Crafties
Thank you so much😊
really? Easy peasy
Where do you get transfer tape?
It's actually just con-tact brand contact paper.
Could u use modge podge
Sure! It just takes a few more coats and longer to dry but works the same.
The tissues already come in a decorative package. There are better uses for glass jars.
What paint did you used?
