- Today we're building a custom glow in the dark funko pop display using baseball bat display cases and UV LED Strip Lights. If you've been collecting funko pops for any amount of time, you're bound to have at least a couple glow in the dark pops in your funko collection. Let's get those pops out of the box and let them shine like they were always meant to shine. You can find a complete list of the items you'll need to complete this build below.

This came out amazing man! I would even add regular LED strips to the other cases as well to light up the regular pops! Awesome video.

Black light reflective paints are also pretty cool under the black light. White usually pops as well. So it doesn’t just have to be glow-in-the-dark.
Duuuuude! That is freaking amazing! I am a huge sports fan & a big Funko Pop collector (mostly The Walking Dead Pop collector), but never thought of this idea. I buy so many floating shelves, but using baseball bat display cases is genius! Thank you, dude!

Really cool idea. I only have 4 GiTD pops and one is a 6".
Scareglow, the Tron pops, and biker ghost Rider come to mind for other GiTD pops.

Jason, I never thought to do UV and OoB glow pops, but I think I’m gonna have to do this too.
I've been wanting to do this for a while with my baseball bat cases and now that I've seen it done I absolutely have to do it. Thanks for the motivation lol

The new Fantastic Four Human Torch GITD looks awesome. Also the 2 POPS the came with the Infinity War collection Box. There is a Black Panther and Peter Quill. They Both GITD.

Really cool video. I did the same thing, but with multi colored LED lights. I’m kinda handy like you too, I’ve been thinking it would be fun to share little projects like this with people.
Also, you can never finish a project with out making an extra trip to the hardware store 😂

This was a awesome idea. Now I just need to step up my display game. Since you already did two time to do the other two. The box lunch anti-venom has a good glow.
I’m relatively new to Funko pop and I’ve got my pops sitting on a little floating shelf and I love the creativity of all the different ways to display pops got a Dr.Strange black light pop and I really wanted to show it off in my room. Good video 👍🏾
They Look Good In the Case and man does Star Wars Pops Glow like crazy not too much the Harry potter Pops

oh yesss you should totaly do this to the other two shelves.Ringwraith from lord of the rings and Moon knight from marvel have very good glow.Also Mysterio from marvel would be a nice addition even thought his glow isn't as strong

Awesome!! I just picked up same bat display. But I did find one at Michael's on line that come with LEDs for $80 but with 20% of like $64 and only 28in long
Great video. Yellowjacket, Black Panther, Killmonger, and Electro are some great glow pops you should look into for the display.

What you should do is get the runners painted black and have 2 ether side of the shelf so then it looks like it is ment to be there
Love this idea!! I have many of the same glow pops you have but my favorites from my collection are Twilight Ringwraith Hot Topic Exclusive from Lord of the Rings and my glow Duck Dodgers pop that I just picked up this weekend.
Was looking for this video. Contemplating doing this. Have to say, the new Captain Cutler and Hydro-Man are amazing pops for glow.

Hey Jedha Patrol! I'm a Pop collector as well. I really love your videos and am so jealous of the pops you have! I recently was using my UV flashlight on a few of my GITD Pops when I realized some that were not GITD Pops were kind of glowing. It was SUPER cool! I noticed some like my Gwenpool, Abe Sapien from Hellboy, and Powerline were all glowing in certain ways. It might be fun for you to go through all your non-GITD Pops and see if they glow! Have fun.

I believe I only have two GITD pops. 1) Cap N’ Crunch and 2) Spider-Man (GameStop). The Spider-Man pop would fit into your collection nicely!

Hey, Great video. Wish I was handy to make my own shelf to fit the pop boxes but the baseball bat case and some of my nice Glows will have to be sacrificed. Going to try and put it all together this weekend wish me luck. I do want to know how long you leave the lights on I am not an electrician and I do t want to melt or ruin the pops.

I like the setup and don't like the sight of wires also. I think I will fish wire in wall and daisy chain. What did you use to secure those sawtooth hangers to the sheet rock with ? anything special or just a 1-1.5 nail ? I want them secure and flush as possible to wall.

Jedah if you have not got yoda spirit and holographic emperor..they are two good ones to have.. For the glow in the dark purpose.

The only glow in the dark pop I have is the Super Saiyan Goku and it’s only his hair that glows. Will be getting the glow in the dark Zamasu very soon which should look pretty cool. The SS Goku Pop does get enough light from the bedroom light so it does glow at night even with him being inside the box, but it would be pretty awesome to have a set up like that! 🙂
I’d do them all, even if you don’t fill them all with gitd pops I think it would look nice. Plus, I’m sure you’ll get enough eventually.

Dope. GITD pops are my weakness. Some not too expensive that have that awesome glow are the Adipose, Ringwraith, Yoda, Qui Gon Jinn and the Adam bomb chase. Now for some crazy grails, I'd definitely go with the haunted mansion set or the Darth Vader! 😁 Definitely go for all 4 shelfs 👍👌👊 #GlowWithTheFlow
Just finished my setup, thanks! Just an FYI, some non GITD pops look better than some that actually glow. Example: my clear Iceman looks amazing but isn't glow in the dark

You should try to get a hold of some of the GITD Freddy Funko Pops, I just saw The Pop Couple's video they posted yesterday and they got a couple gifted to them by family and they look COOL in glow man. They would go well in your glow case.

I need to get these strips.. I just got a 4 foot black light bar & only my black light pops & GITD tiny ghosts glow, but my pops do not glow or really charge....
They don't have to be GITD Pops to light up big under UV. Shine a UV light on any old KISS Pops you have and the white in them glows like crazy! Many other Pops do this as well.
I'm trying to figure out the difference between true GITD pops vs ones that look cool under blacklight. This looks great, but I'd also like to see a way to actually "Charge" the GITD and shut the lights off.
