Nobody talks about Sotto la Luna Tuberose but I love it! I have Sotto la Luna Gardenia too, both are nice but I gravitate more to the tuberose. Great video!
Great video! 😊 I love how you deconstruct and describe fragrances as it really guides me to testing things that sound appealing to me, or sometimes even try something new that I would never even search for. This has lead me to discovering most of my own top 10. Thanks again for taking the time to share this with us 😘
I think I will love noontide. I will go back to the shop that sells them. The 1st time I went they were out of stock because of the crisis.... these sound so good! Thank you for your great descriptions!
2:10 That's my opinion too. Their richness was the aspect that struck me when I first smelled his creations. With the exception of "Fruitchouli flash", I wasn't familiar with the other ones. Thank you for reviewing them. 👌
When I smelled L'air de Alpes Suisses my initial thought was Styrallyl Acetate. It's used in Gardenia and Rhubarb accords. Must try Noontide Petals if I get chance.
Lol...I just went back and watched your review on L'AIR DU DÉSERT MAROCAIN from 2015! When did it finally win you over? You were playing it so cool back then - like: "Don't believe the hype!" But I know you are soo fond of it now. I was just curious how, when, why your heart changed for this fragrance? xoxo
Yesterday haha. No I wore it a few times more and really started to feeeeel it, it was soon after my review. Also when the compliments started coming, that helped lmao.
@@ouch110 LOL! I know so many people including myself don't "feel" a fragrance when we first try it...But, great compositions I think - even if they aren't your style - can grow on you. Or you learn to appreciate them...I am learning to like Oud. Its not my favorite note but if its done right I get that it does make a fragrance kind of mysterious...Also with Desert Marocain - you'll laugh at this - Before I REALLY got into perfumes, I had received a sample of it with a bunch of others from TigerLily and I sprayed it - along with all the others and I was like - "This one is strange...I don't know if I like it..." Then fast forward a year or so AFTER I start getting all Bougie with fragrances and I found it stuffed in my closet somewhere with a bunch of other samples. I saw Tauer and turned the vial to see L'Air Du Dessert Marocain - And I was like, "HOT D@MN!" I tried it again - and was like, "This is fantastic!" SO different from many other fragrances out there AND it completely invokes the Middle-Eastern Dessert...So, I'm with you...You just weren't Bougie enough in 2015 to appreciate it fully...LOL!
I've been bingeing on your videos. I hit like before I even watch, hahaha! Do you ever show your birds? I had a Lovebird for 15 years; I miss her dearly. She was quite the little you-know-what at times and it's a good thing her beak was fairly small because she could give me a whallop of a bite if she was mad at me :o)
Random but I've just ordered L'Air du Desert Marocain (sorry for spelling errors). However, I'm feeling insecure about my expectations now. I will explain quickly because I'm wondering if what follows has ever happened to you: earlier tonight I sprayed a fragrance called 'Oriental Lounge' and instead of picturing a dark, lacquered, cocktail bar at 11pm, I smelled my last holiday to the Amalfi Coast! I couldn't believe it, my wrist smelled EXACTLY like the happiest day sitting on a thick soft beach towel whilst reading back issues of Tatler through sunscreen smudged sunglasses. I couldn't fight this first, and remaining, impression. After all, it's my memory flashback, it's too powerful! I'm sitting on an open top ferry now, riding over to Capri from Positano, smiling as the wind whips my hair and I keep smelling hot summer skin. "Oriental Lounge'?! Has this ever happened to you with a scent, where you instantly and instinctively see it as the opposite of what both the marketing shows you and what the scent profile blatantly communicate? It's confusing, isn't it? Oh this scent is wonderful...if you're looking to remember hot Italian summers by the beach, not if you're hoping to go to a lounge in Shanghai. I'd love you to do a video on fragrances that you feel intensely contradict and flip the marketing line due to your own memory vaults and associations made on instinct. You'll divide the room with this one (like conducting a poll about pineapple's place in the land of pizza :D). Thanks for this video, really enjoyed it. :)
I LOVE noontide petalas. Woo overlooked and underhyped and it smells glorious. Unfortunately I think it might have been discontinued or at least I can't find it in his web and in many fragrance shops....you can still find it tho... Others that I love that noone talks about are Carillon pour un Ange, which is a gorgeous fresh Lilly of the valley and liliac combo, and le maroc pour Elle, which is a dark jasmine in the vein of lust from lush but we'll done and natural smelling instead of raspy screechy synthetic
Hi from Nz . Is that a glittery throw on your couch . I'm like a magpie . I'm drawn to anything that sparkles and there is a white blob on your wall in the background lol . I need to try these perfumes
Love Noontide Petals, its sadly discontinued & the swiss are one kinda reminds me of JPG le Malle but more grown up. I'll stay away from P Blue... Incense Extreme is also excellent
Its unfortunate the bottles aren't on par with the fragrance. Decant worthy only. How can one make such a beautiful fragrance and choose to package it in such hideous bottles? Hard pass.
You‘re welcome! Glad you enjoyed them. All the best from Switzerland, Judith
❤️
Love love love Tauer. I definitely drink Tauerade 🌹
Tauer is one of, if not the best, the indie houses
A new Tom video 😍
A new Quinlan comment 😍
@@RichMitch do a stream 😜

This was great. I love ACDD and Sotto La Luna Tuberose and I'm just getting into Tauer. I wish we could get the discovery sets in the UK

Fruitchouli reminds me a little of gucci rush but love it ☺️
International symbol for no Issey Mayake ...after dinner mint note even less appealing
I clearly need clown perfume.
They sound so nice! Did you pick a favorite?
Yes, noontide petals was my fave!!! :)
Great house,, aroma from heaven
I have never smelled this perfum
Is noontide petals discontinued? I can't find it anywhere!
Hmm I have no idea. I hope not!
Love it 😍
Where can I get this from… Eva
Maybe from his site direct? I know they are sold at Les Senteurs in the UK. :)
House of gucci looks like a good film

Saying one is a terrible human being is redundant...
