We regularly get together with our friend Raphaël de Cock (a musician from Antwerp, Belgium) to sing & rehearse polyphonic vocal Balkan & Balfolk dance songs.
We really loved this Georgian song and put in on our set list as an interlude / sound check song.
Because of Covid-19 we weren’t able to come together to rehearse our repertoire for the last couple of months. That’s why decided to make “Ghimili minda” our next ETNOLIKE project.
We recorded the audio & video seperately in Delft, Rotterdam and Antwerp.
The audio & video got mixed together so it actually almost looks like we did the video and the singing together in one place.
