Something I didn't notice until after uploading. You know how an "X" appears on your tank after it's been drained? Well, if you try to throw a Splat Bomb without enough ink, a smaller "X" will appear UNDERNEATH the line on the ink tank.
Now that is some crazy attention to detail!

Thank you for the kind words. I feel UA-cam is just too unpredictable for me to make a career out of. Plus I still have other commitments atm with uni and a part time job. For now, I'm going to try establishing this channel and see where that takes me. Check out the 'My UA-cam Journey' video if you wanna get an idea of my thoughts about everything thus far.
Cool video and really helpful for using Inkling since I go for a freestyle approach that uses the splat bombs more than the roller. For the next character analysis, I'm split between Wolf and K. Rool.

Extra tip: The Roller can be shielded and punished. Try to fake your opponent if possible or not use it if the move keeps getting punished.

Tip: When you’re at the ledge, it’s better to flick your left stick away from it and then activate roller as soon as you made your double jump than to hold the stick down (it prevents you from fast falling and while still making you drop from the ledge).
Tip 2: Since the most recent patch, the roller has less base knockback but more knockback growth: since bury time scales with it, this means that you will get less buried at low percents but more at high (the threshold being 122%). The weak base knockback also allows you to combo people that misses tech on purpose at low percentages (with a Fair, a Nair, a Bair or an Upair depending on their percentages and their angle of ejection). Since some of these follow-ups can do up to 50 extra damages, I suggest now to always tech chase with roller (at least until 80-ish percents).
Tip 3: Aerial roller only hit people who are on the ground (the hitbox does not acknowledge aerial objects and will only pass through them). Its hitbox wasn’t nerfed unlinked the other one and has a unique angle of ejection (while it does not ground opponents) which can be followed up with a Fair, a Nair, or an Upair (depending on the opponent damage and their angle of ejection).
I have a few I can add onto as well:

When using roller in the air as long as you have some ink you will not consume and ink until you touch the ground making aerial roller really good for reading fastfalls
tip #5
If you do a single tap splatshot on an opponent shield they will be stuck in the shielding animation long enough for you to sneak in a grab or catch the shield drop with a jab or aerial
Tip #6
Really werid but a roller with no ink has a fastfall mechanic, but I don't have a clear use for this outside of recovery mixup

How can you move forward with the nair without doing a fair?
If you're dashing forward just let go of the control stick and then immediately do the nuetral air and then hold forward again. Neutral air first then forward, the faster you do it the farther you can get with it before landing.
