I played with them in like, 2017, but I was shocked to hear from the openers in the tour that “my band reminded him of them.” While flattered, I was so confused. But it was an honor to open for them. Jesse is such a sweetie and their drummer used our drum kit (for some reason, idk why)

I saw them live several times back in high school with the full lineup at a really small coffeehouse venue. Those were some great times! I used to be obsessed with this band! Great video!

Mask/sunglasses is a unnecessary gimmick, you have some good content there :)

Never got to see them live but I was a fan pretty much since their early EPs. My favorite album is probably nuclear sad nuclear. I had that on cd back in the day and would listen to it all the time. They must have been a trip to see live tho. A crazy technical metal band with two screamo vocalists going insane lol.

Such a rad band! Got into them during the Mongrel days, but I personally really enjoyed Wild Gods. Looking forward to whatever they do next! 🎉

Rosy Red Glasses is an insanely good album, still own it on CD. Nuclear was an OK album, not nearly as impactful as the aforementioned, I like Mongrel enough to have picked it up too, Jaywalking is my favorite track on that one. Rosy Red Glasses still my favorite though.

@@vmiestershishcabob847 It was good but there are some things that just didn't stick with me on it.

@@DJTheMetalheadMercenaryyou have to listen to it like 8-10 times. It’s different but it grows on you and is honestly their best album. The nostalgia has me loving nuclear.sad.nuclear, put on your rosy red glasses and mongrel as much but they’re not quite as good. I do miss their 6 piece days but they sound great as a 4

Without a doubt ( red glasses ) has the best songs they have ever put to tape. Plus he whole Albert Fish References IYKYK. That was an actual letter Albert wrote to the little girls parents after he did what he did.

TNTLLU was my favorite band all throughout high school. The other bands you mentioned were also favorites of mine. Totally agree with everything you said.

I love wild gods and worse than alone. But I completely understand why people don't. They are completely different from their first 3 albums. I am in the minority in which I love their newer stuff more. Even fireworks in the sky I love

Jesse was just recently on a podcast and telling the history. And its hilarious.
Opened for a legendary band. They made fun of them for being emo kids doing screamo. And Jesse and the band went to band practice the next day pissed. And they said wrote the first EP in like 2 days just out of spite to prove they weren't some emo band. And like 2 weeks later the changed the name to #12 and the sound they have came out of that.
