The footage of the guys dancing is from Studio One in West Hollywood, probably early 80's. Unmistakable. The neon lights above the dance floor even say "Studio One", if you look. They had the same light show from the mid-70's on, especially the lights on the walls. The club still exists, and after a few owner and name changes, it is now called "The Factory". Most people know it by the various names that the EAST end of the club have gone through (it's a huge space), including "The Backlot", "Ultra Suede" and now "Blow". There is also a club on the 1st floor of the building, now mostly known as "The Robertson" or "Rasputin". The east-end 1st floor space was once an upscale restaurant in the 70's and 80's for celebs on the "down-low" called "The Rose Tattoo".

1981 and great music stays strong with all the great people who enjoy it. Disco is divine, and the only people who just liked it were in the US. The rest of the world continued with disco and just continued adding the other genres as they occurred. It’s sad there are such people that embrace hate over simply being glad for others being happy.
