Ma'am, I'm also a phonics educator and I completely agree with your idea that if the child is not able to pick the sound with full perfection let it be. Give them time. Correct them but be easy. I say the same thing to the parents of my students too. Give the due time to the child so that they sink in the correct time.

Aishwariya I disagree with you! high expectation means better learning outcomes! You need to keep modelling the correct way to say the sound and accept the sound in its pure form or else later on, she will find it hard to segment the sounds and then blend the sounds to read that word
By seeing your videos i know that i will be able to cure my child's autism..God bless ur family for this selfless work...u are the epitome of motivation for mothers like us who are crushed and degenerated by society and by our own family for having an autistic kid
Prayers for your lil one... The best part is that you have accepted that there are developmental challenges and are helping the child be themself rather than pushing the child to be normal. For some kids the moon is purple, so what! They have their own way of exploring and experiencing... As a parent you are really brave!
@@meetimewithmirah it was ine year ago i posted this..at that time he didn't even know how to hold a pencil...today i am proud to say that he can write oral dictation , a proper sentence like “pay the tax max" by using his phonic language..no therapy..i gave him my undivided attention

Really wonderful ! 😊 Teaching kids for almost 27 years I found that the basic concepts are not given to kids. Rather they are forced for rote learning. I counsel the parents to put stress on concept building . Once again good to go through your video.😊

Mam, my kid is now 5 yrs,he can recognise, and can read the the letters, numbers 1 to 10 ,he can speak orally the counting 1 to 5 but after 5 he forgetting while in recognizing he took 5 months, please tell how much a 5 yrs boy can do better, I'm homeschooling him and I made daily routine for him,he had completed his tracing worksheets, with that I have other worksheets that he interested to do, including maths matching, counting numbers figures etc but not words writing,
I want to know how can I help him to write letters and numbers with their words, and how much he can absorb as he is slow in learning and sometimes not interested in studies so I have to go easy with him and give him nice going ways, he is hyperactive boy, 💖💙❤

I got a query. My curious kid will related ag to egg
Also the actual sound of 'is' and 'id' (festival Id) is different
How will we make this thing clear.
I'm asking as my kids learn very fast, relate things and ask questions...
Like one day randomly I introduced the sound of 'ai' and given some words as examples pain, gain, train etc. She herself added again. (I wonder how to explain the sound of ai in said)
The other day I just randomly told her the sound of tr and before giving any example she said mumma, like truck
I'm forgetting but one day she had given one example of reading some word which wasn't fitting and I didn't know the right answer
Like many time she say mumma v for water kyu nahi hota...as v and w sounds similar or why we read giraffe as🦒 sound of g is different for other words...
Many such queries for eagle, elephant, igloo, icecream etc.
Please suggest the right way to handle such queries
I don't have experience teaching young kids but being an educator I understand how important is it to understand child's capabilities and quest to learn...
Hi mam, e has two sounds some times it is pronounced as /a/--egg, elephant and some times as /e/ --- engine, eagle.
In some words some letters are silent example -eagle ,here a is silent.
Same way i has two sounds i as /e/--ink,i as /i/--icecream.
I didn't not strike on the letters , it's by mistake.

She knows the two different sounds of a, e and i. I'm looking for some book specifically for these rules like why the sound of similar WORDS are different for example book n rook, cat n car
Also when to use Ph Vs F for the similar sound like fan and phone

My son is 4years old,he diagnosed with autism in age 3,then I started IBI Tharapies,and daycare,now his eye contact is back,he can recognize and say alphabet and number,colours,shapes,fruit names,he can recognize and know everything names,even body parts,he knows so many nursery poems (but some words clear some not )he can say 2 words together,sometimes he can say full sentences,,he can understand what we or someone say,but he can not tell me what he wants what happens with him?he not communicate with anyone .
