The players eat vegan at the club and when they travel away! At any other time they eat what they want! The food at FGR is so nice, very tasty and good for you and no I’m not vegan!
Doing vegan only food must put a lot of people off going to a match. Why not have a choice rather than being discriminitive against meat eaters? If it was the other way round however there would be untold hell up
If what food is on offer puts people off going to a game then they aren't really football fans are they. I'm not a vegan in any way shape or form, but I couldn't care less what any club sells at the ground, and let's face facts most serve a flip-flop in a bun and lukewarm tea, I go to cheer on my team, if you can't last 2 hours without a meat pie then there is something wrong with you, and to be fair most people that try the vegan stuff at FGR seem to like it.
Except most football clubs have no vegan options. The only thing I can eat at my football club is salt and vinegar crisps. Vegan food is not discriminating against anyone because it is inclusive of everyone. Just because you eat meat doesn't mean you can't eat vegan food. You got to admit though the FGR food looks leagues better then any match day food you get elsewhere.
@@skdesign5613 but what if someone wants to eat meat, you can't just stop them, and what if they didn't have lunch and were hoping to eat there but all there is is vegan food. Maybe it's ok but it's not their preference.
@@cyb3rst4r93 you're right you can't exactly stop people eating their own food but FGR food looks amazing and far better quality than the processed pies you get elsewhere. Not eatung it because it's not your preference (while a bit closed minded) is your choice. Not eating meat is not really a preference as it's an ethical stance. Therefore vegan (plant based) food is more inclusive. Trust me as a vegan (once meat eater) and football fan the food options for us on matchdays are non existant and completely non inclusive. Another point is.... imagine you were hosting a dinner party and some guests were complaining you weren't offering dog or cat meat, would you provide it? Especially considering they could easily eat something else just as or more tasty that you are already providing. Would you break your morals on that jusg to make one or two guests happy? Same thing for the club. They have a stance on not consuming animals for the environment, health and ethical reasons so they won't go against that because "it's not my preference". I hope that explains the logic a bit?
Ankit Singh Not all teams will be big, but the effort is worthwhile anyhow - some will get close. Making a change and going against the grain for the betterment of the bigger picture is also worthwhile and actually, pretty selfless. Hey, but I get what you say...as it's the typical perspective of most people who don't fully understand the true intent of veganism, who may just be going on the stereotype. Better health, environment, and less cruelty to animals, yet still delicious...what's not to love?
Ankit Singh Sure, a lot of people today will have a hard time with veganism. However, an open and humble mind is a good habit to nuture. With those qualities one would see that veganism is quite a simple, and not necessarily, a new idea. We already practice respect, compassion, and justice with our fellow humans. Being a vegan is simply to extend those same principals to all sentient animals in many areas in our life as possible. Whether the reason is health or ethics or eco-counciousness, with regard to what we eat alone, choosing to fill your plate, three times a day, with plants and vegan foods, tops any other effort for immediate change. We all have to eat...food is power.
What do you think of the greenest club in the UK? ...
Onefootball English Green Forest Rovers is more greener than Ireland 👀
I see what you did there...
I just love it. I hope they will make it to Premier League!
I'm a west ham supporter...but I now have a second team ❤
They just don’t have the fan base to go higher and be sustainable. Says it all when they take 300 to a playoff game. Hobby club
I would love to see these guys in the Premier League in about 4 or 5 years,I mean just imagine it it would be awesome
It'd be a great story wouldn't it?
Onefootball English ya actually it would be amazing
Back in non league by then I'd imagine.
@@stickypool there is no chance of that happening, they are comfortably away from the relegation zone and they have the youngest squad in League Two
This video is way too short!! :D Anyway : Keep it up FGR you're doing a great job, I'm fully with you from France.
Green forever
Good team to use in career mode
Eoin Kane Yes, give them a try!

Well said i agree its just that typical vegan 'like it or go home' attitude i dont like. Give people a choice is what im saying

Second
Idk it just seems very pretentious
We politely disagree - they are not preaching it, but practicing it
Onefootball English I guess but I dont think that they can form a big club doing this as most players aren't willing to go vegan. :)

Angelica G v I completely agree with the organic pitch and the solar panels but I just don't get veganity and most people arent willing to go vegan
