It's a smaller caliber it's used for smaller mammals as well in maintaining their pelt I wouldn't be surprised if a small .22 round would leave a skull mostly prizeable
Same with the .270 also the .50 cal muzzle loader (old one) needs tho be 4 to 9 and there should be a feature if you use a round that if to small and it kills said animal you should get full harvest check
just for the goof, if you shoot a .22LR of 32gr. out of a 16inch barrel the muzzle velocity is actually faster than a 9mm, with the crazy speed of 1489 fps. so it can actally be leath against most games
Ooo now I gotta try the 22lr. I knew it was buffed up, didn't think it could take down a class 3. Now, they just gotta adjust the class level from 1 to 1-3!
Did you guys notice he got the Trophy organs intact marker for the brainshotted Cape Buffalo at 15:46 ? Seems like the 22LR triggers some "bird"-mechanics? Only the ammo type failed due to class.
Wolves are tough, even with a vital organ (lung) shot they die slower then other animals. Sometimes they make me feel that a vital .308 hit is a joke to them
First I think ..ok .22lr is used for fox, Badgers and racoons and kill them real fast in real life ... But that's ridiculous 😅... And a little bit annoying because I really want to hunt in game with the .223 rem but it's really powerless.. please give the .223 rem more Power and some others 😊
Not only can it take down a Wigeon instantly, it does so from behind it's back while you are facing it... I've noticed that lately. A lot of wrong directions on shots. On some animals (small deer and birds even) I've gotten femur or lung shots depicting wrong lung/bone. These odd details.
I just did a hunt with the Kullman .22H and used it on the Cape Buffalo trying to do the brain shots only and couldn’t take them down with only one shot, but was able to take them down with a single brain shot using the 10mm.
I know it kills boar cause I used to carry all 3 AR’s on Cuatro and did a quick pull up and shoot on a hog and thought I had the .308 but it was actually the .22. Perfect lung and he only went about 50 yards
I agree. So many people say 22lr is too small for red fox and I've taken down red fox with 22lr a few times and my dad has taken them down at far range with iron sights
.22 meh .45 air rifle alright! I just took down bison and moose one shot with it and it doesn’t spook animals I think the air rifle is better then the 22
@@kalebmcdaniel9147 dude people have been hunting deer with 22lr for over a century it’s probably killed more deer than any other cartridge on this planet and also I don’t see why it wouldn’t drop a deer I’ve seen videos of people dropping feral hogs with 22lr and those things are way tougher than deer are
Nobody: That old timer that claims to have over 600 long distance big game kills with a 22lr: *edit: this is false as he claimed to also use iron sights
I don’t understand, to my knowledge in real life if you shoot something in the brain = lights out. TECHNICALLY, a brain shot is ethical, with that 22 it’s not messy, it’s an instant death, just not recommended.
I'm not sure what's more absurd, the excessive power the cones have now or that the brain shot somehow *didn't* count as damaging the skull.
Yea both are wild xD
Went through the eye socket?
Larger rounds would shatter the skull, but a 22LR just puts a tiny hole in it thus not damaging the integrity.
It's a smaller caliber it's used for smaller mammals as well in maintaining their pelt I wouldn't be surprised if a small .22 round would leave a skull mostly prizeable
.223 really needs a buff!
True

If nobody uses the 223. Then they sure aren't using it now.
They should move it up a couple of classes
And this just proves that an overhaul is definitely necessary.
They should change the class range to 1-3 in my opinion.
I was thinking the same thing
Agreeddddd
No they shouldn’t because coyotes are level 2 and in real life you can’t ethically kill something with a .22 bigger than a coyote
exactly makes no sense not having a bonus while using a smaller ammo type
Should be at least class 1-2
And .223 should get a damage buff, it's absurdly weak right now, clearly weaker than .22lr shown in the video
It’s better than the 223 now xD
It has always been better
@@Chicken9112 lol
I was getting ready to say that and then I saw your comment😂
I’ve always said the truncated ammo was better but I always got shut down. It’s always been so good
Well I used it before, and didnt like it cause it killed turkeys way too slow. But now they buffed it
Funny thing is, it still sucks on turkeys with flesh hits xD
The 338 needs a buff so bad it should be stronger than the 300
Ooo now I gotta try the 22lr. I knew it was buffed up, didn't think it could take down a class 3. Now, they just gotta adjust the class level from 1 to 1-3!
too much going to class 3 even class 2 it's a really small round not ideal in real life for red foxes.
@will13434 I've had to take out red foxes because of them going after my chickens and the 22lr does just fine on them
Did you guys notice he got the Trophy organs intact marker for the brainshotted Cape Buffalo at 15:46 ?
Seems like the 22LR triggers some "bird"-mechanics? Only the ammo type failed due to class.
You should try 22 pistol for self defense against a wolf pack now lol
Wolves are tough, even with a vital organ (lung) shot they die slower then other animals. Sometimes they make me feel that a vital .308 hit is a joke to them
22lr needs to be bumped up to class 1-2 or even 3
30-30, 6.5mm and .375 Magnum needs a buff
And the .223
I disagree on the 6.5. It's ok compared to .308, as it should be.
Would be nice if the Devs actually consulted folks who shoot and reload. They might learn how ammo actually works.
I'm still mad about how the .270 can't ethically take class 3 animals (especially with the Stradivarius variant having ENGRAVINGS OF ROE DEER ON IT)
Just add the .22 mag 1-3 class only having to carry 2 pews would be awesome
I’d love that maybe make it go to class four people shoot hogs with it
Not only can it take down a Wigeon instantly, it does so from behind it's back while you are facing it...

Ima try this out on whitetail
Doesn't really matter because it's for level 1 only, all i buy are the hollow-point.
The should make it 1-3
another 10/10 video crow keep ip the work!
*.22 lr truncated.* Omae wa mou... shindeiru!
i once got surprised by a black tail while holding the 22 and got the brain insta killing it like how
I tried to brain a saltwater crocodile, but I think I missed. Tough shot on those.
Why can’t treestand be used on reventoli map the trees are so nice and straight
I shot a bison in the lung with a 22
I wish it was 1-2 class ammo
id much rather they add in a 22 magnum bolt action class 1 and 2.
You got a heart shot from 4 meters away though. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They need to buff every gun because .243 is a monster round irl and gun round ballistics in this game are really bad i just hope they fix it
I just did a hunt with the Kullman .22H and used it on the Cape Buffalo trying to do the brain shots only and couldn’t take them down with only one shot, but was able to take them down with a single brain shot using the 10mm.
We’ll considering 10MM is a heavier and slightly larger round yeah that makes sense.
New grinding weapon with the 10 round mag 💯😂😂😂
Did BroBrah teach you how to use .22 on big game?
Cape buffalo is the hardest thing to take down? Tell that to my character who spends all day flying around on his ATV with 600 grain broadheads
1:06 why do the 22lr rounds in the pic have center fire primers?
so how do i know what my exterior zones and my main zones are on my whitetail grind in revontuli
What is your normal hunt loudaut
I missed click on my weapon choice and took a black bear out w/ the .22 at 55yrd heart shot. I was surprised.
I usually only take head or neck shots with the .22
New best grinding gun? Great vid crow keep up the amazing work
The .22 is now better than the .223 ! Great job EW ! Makes perfect sence ! Not !
I know it kills boar cause I used to carry all 3 AR’s on Cuatro and did a quick pull up and shoot on a hog and thought I had the .308 but it was actually the .22. Perfect lung and he only went about 50 yards
I always carry it with truncated rounds with a big game gun.
no bonus from right Ammo type tough, i mean, a smaller Ammo type should count as more bonus. tmo at least
Subbed for the dancing wildebeest!
I was dying laughing at the same thing.😃
My 7mm will not even hit lung on capes
With polymer tips? I find that really hard to believe.
Their was a 8 mythical Cape buffalo you missed
What gun were you using in this video, and was it from a dlc, if so what dlc?
Hi! Welcome to poacher the game. Where we replicate 1930s America sustenance hunting, but in Africa.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK CROW
My friend heartshot a moose with the 22 from the side😂
I don't know how that wasnt a lung but that was a brain shot 😳 the skull of a Cape I ls way stronger than the skin
Y the dog look like that 😆
I can’t wait for the .22 memes
I think the 22lr should be able to take down jackals and coyotes, cuz of real life hunting.
I agree. So many people say 22lr is too small for red fox and I've taken down red fox with 22lr a few times and my dad has taken them down at far range with iron sights
Ha jokes on you I already subscribed 😂
hey, how do you change optics/ammo from the wheel? when I select it and close the wheel nothing happens, do I need to press some key?
Some animals dont die by the .22lr i tried to kill a moose with it but those a-holes often refuse to die by a .300 also.
I thought it was crazy when I dropped a moose with one shot😂
Where do I find cape Buffalo
can you post me a link with the patch notes ? i cant find it
Will you come live today?
Fount the new .223 😂
How to find so many great ones
Hi
Yay new video
Still would carry a .454 over a .22
He needs warthog
How does this compare to the usually way more powerful 22H which is good for class 1-2?
Cape vs 338 No No No Cape vs 22 lr IS best Not the Bad 338 lol
Was this a soft patch?
30 06 better than 7mm 308 now.

Now im sure .22 is better than 223.
lol I use 22 lr in real life It drops deer like nothin
Dude stop lying a 22 does not drop deer! I shoot ‘em with 30.06 in real life and only sometimes they drop!
Also that would be illegal to use a .22 on deer in every state because it’s not big enough
