In all the scriptures pertaining to the Milk and the Meat of the Word of God, none of them refer to the prophecies as being the meat. However, we have and will continue to teach and preach on the prophetic scriptures.
When I was a Child, I spoke of childish things, but now as a man I have left those childish things behind and speak of important things. I am encouraging your brother to take your church off the baby food now and begin to speak of things which are important. I have been attending churches of various denominations for over 40 years and have quit going to be honest. The reason is that pastors seem to have all been taught this notion that they need to "keep it to the main thing", don't scare your congregation, its bad for business. But as I have matured in my faith and walk with Jesus, I am no longer interested in the the simple stuff. 27 % of the Bible is predictive prophecy, about the coming of the Messiah Jesus Christ and beyond, this is meat and potatoes, adult food if you will. We all sense the season, we should be looking for the signs, Jesus tells us to be Awake, Paul re-itterates the importance of being awake. This means that as a pastor, it is your job to awaken the church. It is Time to break the bonds of the comfort zone which the seminary placed upon your wrists and even relinquish your 501C status if you must, so that you have no bonds preventing you from speaking the Truth, for the time of repentance is at hand. Begin to feed your church Big Boy food, Prophecies from books like AMOS, not cherry picked verses, go through the book brother, people must understand what is happening. Also you should educate yourself on current events which I believe are Significant, E.G. the signing of the Abraham Accord on Sept 15th 2020. Read Daniel again, who is the little horn? I believe those who have wisdom should understand what time it is. If the Abraham Accord is the Brotherly treaty spoken of in Amos, and Gaza violated it, then what time is it? Who why and where does God lay waist to Isreals neighbors and indeed to Isreals population as well. The attacks began in Ashekton and Ashdod, Gaza violated the brotherly treaty, aka Abraham Accord. Does Daniel suggest that this peace treaty marks the begining of the tribulation? rider on white horse carry a bow and given authority to do ,,,, Did we have a Global pandemic 3 months later? Followed by Red Horse, Are there wars and rumors of wars? Do we now face the rider on the black horse who carrys the scales saying a measure of wheat for a days pay, inflation, supply chain issues? Brother it is time to awaken the Church and prepare the Bride for the Brides groom. In the name of the Father the Son and Holy Spirt, I implore you. It will likely increase your congregation when you start talking about how prophecy is being fulfilled today!!!!!!!
