    Another excellent lesson! I know I can make good use of the verb istemek.☺ Please tell us about punctuation marks. How are they different or similar from English written language?

      Adding the punctuation lesson to the list 👍

    Nice! Maybe you've covered this in a lesson I haven't watched yet, but is there any difference in usage of "fakat" and "ama", or are they interchangeable?

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  Рік тому +1

      They are interchangeable but I must say that "ama" is used more commonly.

    Thank you so much for the very good lesson. Could you please explain why you use beni instead of bana in the sentence Sen beni dinlemek istemiyorsun.

      Merhabalar, you're welcome, rica ederim.
      In English the verb "listen" works with dative suffix "to" but in Turkish it works with accusative suffix.

    Why in the sentence "They want to sleep more." did you use daha fazla for more? During the class on comparatives more = daha. Why add fazla too and what does it add? Thank you so much in advance.

      Merhabalar.
      If we use "more" with an adjective then "daha" is enough.
      Benim oğlum daha çalışkan.
      But if we use "more" alone, without any adjective then it should be "daha fazla".
      Benim oğlum daha fazla çalışıyor.

    Merhaba
    Bu da doğru olabilir mi?
    Şimdi Türkçe yazmamak ancak Türkçe konuşmak istiyorum.
    Çok susadım, o yüzden yemek yememek ancak su içmek istiyorum.

      Dilbilgisi açısından doğru ama şöyle söylemek daha güzel olur "Şimdi Türkçe yazmak istemiyorum ancak Türkçe konuşmak istiyorum"
