@@Danindubai Well Dubai = Las Vegas, not really NY or California or Seattle or Texas..neither Singapore, but its first world...l guess once anyone spends a year in a new city..it plays out...its a good nice secure orderly city..rest the pluses and minuses will play out with time...Muscat is more authentic more arabic more peaceful..

@@Danindubai Fake lifestyle! Seeking to compete with US big cities while in the shifty sands of a desert! No disrespect to Dubaians, though. Just overspending to have glitzy paraphernalia. My village has a real ifestyle rooted in mother earth. Elders in my village would say: "big wind loud thunder no rain!"
As a fellow Brit I would like to ask are you able to easily get by on English alone is the proficiency of English good in Dubai?
Oh yeah english is spoken by everyone. The 2 national languages are Arabic and English, every telephone system etc asks if you want instructions in English or Arabic and evey single person here speaks pretty decent English!

@@Danindubai yes i am im planning on doing so once i have enough to buy a propety to live in to gain the dubai golden visa
@@XXX-c9y5r yeah fair enough. If you wanted to come over sooner you can set up a company, employ yourself and give yourself a residence visa.
You can then get the golden visa when you buy a property. You then won't be paying income tax on your earning and you'll save up even faster

@@XXX-c9y5r nowhere near that much. Depends really on how lavishly you want to live.
