TFS! I hear you on wanting to read-aloud more. When my kids were small I'd struggle with staying awake! Audiobooks are a great help. My kids (in HS & college now) have fond memories of their favorites: The Mysterious Benedict Society series and The Chronicles of Narnia. We used the local library & some were even on youtube!
Yes people find planners at the thrift stores. I was watching and someone got a traveler's notebook for a couole of dollars. And she even found some at liquidation stores. I think it's kinda rare though. Kinda like hit or miss type thing. It was a case of She was at the right place at the right time

Compact/Slim is my favorite size. I think I have 6 Filofax in that size. Great flip!
