This seems a bit misleading around 5:50 because it implies that placing the survey point has something to do with how the DWG lines up with the geoimage. But this would be the case regardless of whether the survey point is there, wouldn't it? Because the DWG was already georeferenced when you imported it.

well spotted, but the survey point move the internal origin to where the geo-referenced information lands which is very important.
