    In this video I'm heading up Whistler mountain to snowboard with Andreas from Comor. Andreas has Nitro Squash Quiver snowboard to test out. I'm looking for a new powder snowboard to bring on my trip to Japan. We're snowboarding today in an out of bounds area of the mountain called Khybers Pass. I'm excited to test out the Nitro snowboard in the pow and on the groomers and see if it's the right snowboard for Japan. I'm following Andreas through the trees today. He's very familiar with the Khybers Pass area and the best ways to maneuver through terrain. Any time you head out of bounds its important to stick with your crew, know where you're going and know all the risks with going out of bounds. It turned out to be a great day for snowboarding thought the tree and we found some good powder. I decided in the end to go for the Nitro Pow Quiver snowboard for the Japan trip! Thanks for watching!

    Stoked to see you try out a Nitro. I've never rode one of their quiver boards, but there normal shapes and their bindings are top of the line. Always had the best luck with Nitro snowboard co. Plus beefed up "rail killer" edges, you can't beat that.

    Love the board bud. I just got a 2018 ride bizerker 158 and I can proudly say that it’s money well spent. Super snappy and light. Wasn’t sure about the slime walls at first but can also proudly say that my next board will also have the same feature.

    Khybers!!!! I miss Whistler so much for the epic tree runs and steeper terrain. Japow is sick for consistent snow and night time riding though. Tough choice of where to go for the 2018/19 season...

    The Yes 420 you have will rip in Japan. Short and fat = ideal to float and manoeuvre through the trees. The board has a level of pop in it as well. I rode a few powder boards in Japan and the 420 topped it.

      Stay on the Whistler side vs Blackcomb as there are more green & blue runs. Take the gondola to the Roundhouse on top. Ride mostly the Emerald Chair if you're a beginner. Have fun.

    So I have a beginner question, to set bindings in a regular stance should there be more space on the nose or tail of the board?

    • @plkostto7944
      @plkostto7944 6 років тому

      Canon Campbell if your board is a twin you’re better off setting your bindings the same on either side instead of offset.

    • @aidandarcy4411
      @aidandarcy4411 6 років тому

      Canon Campbell I would say if you are going to be riding switch or going into the park, you would be best setting up your stance in the middle of the board, with +12 and -12 degrees. However, if you won’t be riding switch and just want to ride the whole mountain, I would recommend setting your stance closer back to the tail for more responsive turning and more float if it does snow. Also, most boards come with a reference stance so that is always a good place to start! Good luck man
