- Exclusive to The Diva's official website (www.yma-sumac.com), a live version of the wildly popular Malambo #1. The international icon only ever sang this live a few times, as she did not take the Mambo album very seriously. She was more proud of her more operatic songs. This track is from NYC, 1955 and can be found on the album THE VOICE, which is also exclusive to Miss Sumac's official website.

I'm one of those people so impatient that I typically play most of the UA-cam videos I watch at 1.5 speed. When I started this video, it sounded so fast I figured I'd left the speed setting high and went to the settings to slow it down to the regular speed. I was shocked to find it WAS playing at normal speed. How the hell can ANYONE play instruments THAT fast? Thank God the song's only 2 minutes and 43 seconds....any more would have resulted in the fastest development of carpal tunnel syndrome in medical history.
She thrilled me and all of my siblings when we were young in the 1950s. We were dazzled with those albums she did. She touched our lives in a big way!

No hay duda de que si la hubiera cantado perfecto, pero no es necesario,pero el hecho de que hasta este día nadie que aseguren que tenga mejor rango vocal pueda hacer un cover de yma sumac y le iguale, demuestra yma sumac es la mejor cantante.
