    Walaikum salaam bro. Jazakallah, great video. Very good advice. A small note, diet soda can be a useful aid in weight loss for people transitioning to a lower calorie diet as it helps a lot with controlling satiety. But yeah whole food diet is the way to go for sure!

    Hi Yusuf. I am a Dermatology resident in Canada with 2 years left before I become a fully licensed Dermatologist. To the contrary of what you mention, there is very minimal evidence that "gastrointestinal health" has any impact on your eczema (formal name is atopic dermatitis). Rather, it is a chronic, inflammatory skin disease, that waxes and wanes. It has a significant genetic component, essentially most have a defect in filaggrin (protein within the layer of the skin), leading to increased transepidermal water loss.
    All of this to say, that diet while it may help with other aspects of health, has very limited impact on your atopic dermatitis. It is worth a try, iA you may get better, but it is a very low chance.
    Rather, you should get a referral to speak to a Dermatologist, and there are incredibly effective treatment options available such as topical corticosteroids, and other systemic agents that can take by mouth or injection.
    iA that helps

      Appreciate your insight. But topical steroids are a band-aid solution for eczema and TSW destroys peoples life. The skin reflects what's happening inside the body, and healing a leaky gut is step 1 to fixing the rest. Yes, many other factors affect eczema, but if one can control the inflammation from foods/environment, it'll heal much much quicker and efficiently

    • @123MMHS
      @123MMHS Місяць тому

      @@YusufTruth - I respectfully have to disagree brother. There is no evidence for this, especially in the Dermatology literature that appropriate nutrition/diet can place your skin disease in remission. Atopic dermatitis is the most studied condition in our field, and time after time, in conferences + our textbooks, there is no data supporting this. In addition, there is no real entity know is topical steroid withdrawal. This disease has a chronic relapsing and remitting nature.
      If you'd like to learn more about it, you can pick up our primary Dermatology reference manual, "Bolognia Dermatology" several 1000 pages. You will read that it is primarily a genetic disease with mutations in the skin barrier, leading to water loss, poor certification, etc.
      However, I hope iA the steps you find you take will help you.

      an elimination diet helps a lot when it comes to inflammation in the body. What he mentioned technically some form of elimination diet and he can always try things out in the future to see how his body reacts. Simply reducing local inflammation wont do the job

    I also think it’s important to recognise that a major part of physic is out of someone’s control. It’s mostly genetic. Yes you can make small changes based on exercise and diet but if you’ve got low testosterone and naturally low muscle mass no amount of work will change that, it’s like a short person trying to get taller.

    • @YusufTruth
      @YusufTruth  Місяць тому +12

      Completely disagree. Everyone blames genetics but 99% is a lack of understanding what intense training and dialed nutrition is. I was part of that majority.

      I’m your age but Didn’t body like you and I don’t do gym just normal exercise at home, and I really don’t want that much body like not skinny as well just normal body . Wanna just look good. But love your productivity really you guys do a lot for your body and food but we just eat that all in our normal routine really we eat vegetables in lunch in pakistan.

    • @Jjjkluejnek
      @Jjjkluejnek Місяць тому

      @@YusufTruth sorry brother, but you can’t make major changes to your muscle same way you can’t get taller no matter how hard you try or what supplements you take. I’m not saying don’t be healthy I’m saying it’s important not to give people a false belief that to be healthy they have to have a certain unattainable physic.

    • @YusufTruth
      @YusufTruth  Місяць тому +2

      @@Jjjkluejnek, the average man who trains multiple times a week with the intention of hypertrophy, makes significant changes in their physical appearance after a year of consistent effort. Stop lying to yourself, saying that you can't change naturally. Muscular growth and height growth and very different

    • @Jjjkluejnek
      @Jjjkluejnek Місяць тому +2

      @@YusufTruth I think the number 1 determining factor for muscle growth is testosterone. If you haven’t got this, train as hard as you want it’s like trying to build a house without bricks. I just think it’s important for influencers to recognise the good genes they got instead of saying it’s because of their ‘lifestyle choices’.
      But this is a minor point, may Allah bless you and keep up the good work because overall I think you’re doing a great job 🏆.
