Thanks! There are trails off the side all the way up so you won’t go wrong. The top stuff is off a singletrack climb which you’ll see a fair bit up the fire road

Thanks for taking the time to write that! So nice to read! It's great to hear that the channel inspires people to get out riding bikes. Exactly what we're trying to do - just show the fun and good times you can have on the bike whether it's racing, having a laugh or progressing on something. Fingers crossed for some races. That's a good aim and ideal after the summer with some good weather (hopefully) for plenty bike time!
I find the golfie pretty grippy as it has that nice gritty mud but some of this trail just goes mega slick - mostly the top section then it gets grippier as it goes down. Just filmed it last week before the snow came 😃
That looks awesome! How would you rate the trails at Innerleithen in terms of difficulty, I would like to expand on my riding, usually do red’s at trail centres?
it's a super trail! On the normal Innerleithen DH side you'll find it a fair step up from trail centre reds but there are certain trails that would be the perfect bridge coming from trail centre to more natural so I would recommend it :). A lot are technical with roots etc so be careful which ones you go down but one called Angry Sheep is just perfect and there is a red there too called Caddon Bank and some others. The Golfie is the opposite side from Innerleithen and much steeper so I'd go there once you're comfortable at innerleithen or on natural stuff :)

think you should keep mixing the trails up ,think 2 trails is perfect....and as i ve said before with your vids ....you both look like you love and enjoy your riding so much ,and that comes through on your videos...it makes them a joy to watch ......even when its raining branches !!!!!!

Only just discovered your channel this week and really enjoy the videos and like the fact they are trail previews without too much talking! I'm from Cornwall and I'm very jealous of the trails you guys have up there! Keep up the vids coming maybe do a collab with, someone, to boost your channel???

@@LauraJaneWeeTamMTB follow up to this - we made it to the Tweed Valley this summer and got to ride Right Side Clyde based off this clip. Now it is my favourite Golfie trail! My younger son also did the Tweedlove race so actually raced 3 of the Golfie trails on that and loved every minute of it. You are so lucky to have that place close by.

Thanks that’s great to hear! We both use POC VPD 2.0 knee pads. Really comfy and last ages! Got the more heavier duty ones as the trails are always pretty techy we ride but I’ve just ordered some 7idp enduro ones to try something a little lighter too. Had ixs pads before which were great too. Elbow pads - Tomas has 100% ones and I have bliss minimalist ones- nothing too bulky. Hope that’s useful :) cheers!
No problem! I know a few people that ride these ones and love them. I just go for something heavier duty for personal peace of mind when it gets rougher/rockier but i'm sure these ones protect more than enough
