No amount of gassing it would’ve prevented this. The thing is so top-heavy and they were almost straight vertical. He was already on his bumper. Not quite enough approach angle to make that one work.
Looked like he slid most of the way down and when the front wheels hit the bottom it was too late because thats when you see the wheels spin again. Unfortunately the bumper was already stuffed and it was going over. Really tough maneuver you dont want to go too fast down but if your on the brakes at the bottom it actually goes tits up😅
You've got to self brief on the possibilities and what you'll do. And if you don't know if you can get power to the fronts with the rears off the ground, don't even start.

I suggest watching some videos of cape trips on here, watch some 4wd 23/7 videos and you might understand why we do these tracks. sorry if it sounds like im bagging you out but just trying to educate.
If they thought this was even a possibility with wouldn’t you tie a rope to that vehicle behind you to protect your own vehicle. Just common sense to me. This was pretty much the only thing that could go wrong on this maneuver and it could’ve been avoided!
It's no surprise that he rolled over he didn't get to the bottom and hit the brakes, front down and rear end straight up in the air you never hit the brakes like that gotta to hit the throttle
For some people the risk/reward isn't there. For others it is. It's not hurting anyone who doesn't want to be there, so I have no problem with people having at it.
