Really excited by what y'all are building. I've had several Cruise rides already, and I like it a lot. It feels very safe, safer than a human-operated rideshare or taxi, in my opinion.
I'm getting OLD I can't wait for Autonomous EVs. I don't have to be a hinder family members for to get to my doctor's appointments, pharmacies, grocery shopping, parks for enjoying a nice walk.
I get it, but bothering your family members is important! The world is seperated enough as it is. Tech might fix all our practical problems, and dopamine hits hard, but we are still human. Relationships give our sense of self meaning, and tech is not able to cover that(Yet).
Also needed video surveillance inside the tge vehicles with IDing the riders just in case folks with dementia/Alzeimers and can access users' phones' family emergency numbers and contact families about their whereabouts.
Cool, love the visualizations! One thing can we stop inferring that San Francisco cyclists and pedestrians are rule-breaking and problematic by nature? As a law-abiding cyclist, I want to be part of the solution.
I Rode in a driverless Cruise last night for the first time, from Downtown San Francisco to Japan Town. It was a smooth ride and easy to manage.
A short drive with probably 2-3 turns, at night with little traffic. Let's see how it feels with traffic at higher speeda.

You dont need an AV for that. Just get any paid transport uber lyft taxi etc

They are rule breaking by nature. Assuming you are actually law-abiding like you say then you are the exception, not the rule.
